So who does Vera fight next?

I really liked the fact that Vera came out and brought it this past weekend but where does he go from here? and will he look this good again in his next fight?

I'd like to see him fight Te-Huna because while he certainly did better than we all thought he'd do, Shogun looked bad in that fight imo.

I think he's in the same echelon as both Te-Huna and even Bonnar, so I'd love to see him go against either of those.

Throw him in there with 7 second Jimmo. Find out where both fighters fall in the ranks.

Forrest Griffin.

If Forrest can't beat Vera then he really needs to retire.
If Vera can't beat Forrest then he is gonna get cut (again).

This is coming from a Vera fan, but also a realist.

Rematch against Thiago Silva makes perfect sense. Their last match being a NC, both coming from a loss. Vera looked good against shogun (able to fight back) whereas Silva looked really bad against Gustafsson..

There's a few good opponents for him. Thiago Silva, Forrest Griffin and Bader all I think would be good match ups. I'd like to say I was very impressed by Vera's game performance against Shogun I believe he earned a lot more respect from everybody in that loss then he had in almost all his fights in the last few years.

Somehow Jimmo makes sense although I got a good chuckle.

These all make sense to me.

Glover after Rampage fight
Bonnar
Griffin
Te Huna

Anybody but Bader or Davis or any grappling based fighter. Vera does NOT do well against em.

Man I wish they got James Irvin back...

Hmm some good match-ups can come out of this:

Te Huna
Rematch with Silva
Texiera
Bader

Vera did bring it and definitely took punishment.
