Cain is a moron and he needs to STFU. If he was in a real fight with JDS the first time he would be dead right now, so he should be thanking the stars that there was a referee who stepped in to save his life and shut his mouth about "deserving" a shot over a champion like Overeem just because he beat ONE person (Bigfoot).

JDS was "promised" a title shot like 3x. He didnt complain. Infact he was supposedto fight Cain, Cain got injured, JDS agreed to put his shot at risk by coaching TUF/ fighting Lesnar and still didnt complain about Carwin on short notice.

No not at all. If somebody knocked me unconscious I would probably not want to fight him again less than a year later and I most CERTAINLY would not be talking trash and complaining like Cain is.

He may have gotten somewhat better but he has done nothing to make me think he will fair any better in a rematch.

He has beaten Mike Kyle, Big Foot (who is just a gatekeeper according to people), Fedor jumped into his guard but yes it was somewhat impressive, he lost to Overeem who according to you is going to get killed by JDS and he beat Russow and Nelson. He isn't out there demolishing top HW's left and right, he is beating mid tier fighters. I mean everyone is talking about "earning shots". How does Nelson and Russow earn someone a shot?

Book Cain/Werdum and JDS/Overeem. Have the two winners from each fights duke it out.

Even though I'm not a fan of Overeem getting an immediate title shot coming off a suspension for discovering sea biscuit levels of testosterone in his body.

He isn't going to learn from his little suspension. He should have to fight another two guys and work his way back to the top for cheating his entire HW career. But, Dana is pro TRT and that isn't going to happen.

Also what's with people ripping on Cain? Velasquez has looked unstoppable in every single fight of his career and has steam rolled through every opponent other than JDS.

He is the second most accurate striker in UFC history and other than the JDS fight, hasn't actually lost a single round in Mixed Martial Arts competition. Those are ridiculously impressive statistics. He's just got done turning the octagon into a butcher shop against a very game Big Foot.

He was coming off a major injury for the JDS fight, didn't look great and got clipped behind the back of the ear with a haymaker.

Cain @ 100 percent is a demon and he's proved that throughout his career. I'd love to see both of em duke it out at 100 percent and get the real war of the HW division that was supposed to happen originally.

I'd like to see cain have one more fight before he gets another crack at JDS. If he lost a UD to JDS that would be one thing, he got knocked out brutally in around minute.

Cain does have a fair shot at beating JDS. I heard something about JDS/Overeem on the late december card, so I have no idea how its all going to turn out.

I'd much rather see Dos Santos vs. Overeem. I have no doubt JDS would be able to beat Velasquez should they go at it again. Having said that, I can't argue with Cain's points either. But go with what the fans want and where the money is: JDS vs. Reem.

I'd love to see JDS vs. Cain II...

Just not as much as I'd love JDS vs. Overeem!

In all fairness though, they could've had the match while Overeem was out. Don't know why they haven't, I can't believe that Dana didn't want it, whoever his HW champion fights he knows it'll be a big money fight.

If you can't argue with Cain's point, you're really bad at arguing. He would never have gotten the shot if Mr anti-inflammatory Testosterone hadn't been suspended. Reem deserves a shot. Cain was arguably the least undeserving HW in Reem's absence.

Overeem should have to fight someone else for the simple fact he's a cheater.
