The UFC would have a tough time promoting Cain/JDS when it happened a year ago for free and lasted a minute. Rematches work if the first fight had a storyline (like Chael getting caught by Silva, Lesnar pounding Mir until he got caught, Edgar/Maynard having a war, etc). There's no storyline here- Cain got beat quickly and has only had one win since.

And the UFC obviously rewards trolling and baiting your opponent. It worked for Diaz (until GSP got injured).

Hello, let me introduce myself first..my name is EH, living in the Netherlands and following K1, MMA and UFC for quit a while now.

I just want to reply on the comments made by some of the guys on these forums.

Overeem would lose to JDS? Why do you think that?
If i remember correctly, there were alot of peeps saying Overeem would lose to Brock also. It took him 1 round to retire this man from the sport.

I'm not sure, but the Dutch fighters, like Hoost, Bonjasky, Aerts, Schilt, Overeem and Badr Hari (he trained and lived all of his life in the Neterhlands) are the best of the best. JDS is talking alot of carbage as does Overeem. But Overeem is the man who can back his words up with a great performance and a KO to JDS.

JDS has no chance whatsoever to destroy Overeem. JDS will learn the hard way. Overeem can strike, kick and use his elbows because of his training in Holland. They are complete fighters. Hell, he even van put you in a quilotine to choke the hell out of you. JDS will try to strike this man down, but in the end Overeem will be about 5 lvls to high for this nice gentleman.

Overeem has a chin made of cabbage. Sure his defense is a lot tighter now but JDS has the hands to connect. Would you argue that Kharitonov is a better boxer than JDS?

Overeem is easily number one IMO, based on his body of work it hard to disprove. 10-1 as a HW outside the UFC, came into the UFC and destroyed Brock Lesnar. With all things consider he is number one, you could make a case for Cain, but he lost to JDS already.

As for this topic, Overeem is speaking some BS, but its working. JDS wants to fight him, even if you doubt his ranking at HW. He is picking a fight and will likely get it.

So... what did overeem actually test positive for? Is it guaranteed he cheated or is it still up in the air? Doesn't really matter though, 2 or 3 shots from each guy and JDS will be hurt really bad holding his ribs while Overeem is lying on the ground rolling round wondering what happened. JDS is the Aldo of HW, there are no current skillsets that beat him. Overeem's chin is too weak to beat him, to Beat JDS you need a Hendo like Chin because Junior's fights usually end with one punch.

Overeem been ko'd 6 times. One of them by Kharitonov who used his boxing to KO Overeem. I know this fight was 5 years ago and Overeem has obviously improved, but I don't think he has improved that much. JDS will pick him apart with his boxing and KO him.

A massively high Testosterone:Epitestosterone ratio which can only be achieved through either synthetic testosterone which is a steroid or other anabolic steroids that he cycled out during his camp.

So it is guaranteed he cheated, but it could be multiple choices as to what exactly he cheated with.

And yes agreed his chin won't stand up to JDS, a HW version of Hendo would probably be a more dangerous fight.

He tested with greatly elevated Testosterone. He claimed Synth Test was given to him without his knowledge in an anti-inflammatory injection (Anti inflammatory medication doesn't normally contain Testosterone, it's nonsense.)

He claims innocence, but so did every other fighter who got busted.

You're talking about a different sport. Do you think Wesley Sneijder could move to the U.S and become the best field goal kicker in the NFL just because he's a great Soccer free-kicker?
