If only there was some way to take a group of women and put them in a house and have them fight every week.

You might even put some lesbians in the house to see if they end up engaging in some sort of sexual relationship only to have to fight at the end.

But as we all know their are no lesbians in MMA, a show like that would never work, and nobody would watch women acting a fool and fighting with each other.
There has already been a Ultimate Fighter themed television showed about women. Ever heard of Fight Girls? About the female Muay Thai fighters fighting for a prize? Was that successful? NO. And that had everything in it and only a couple of women were ugly from what I remember. See, just goes to show that your exposure to the fight game is rather limited, John.

Yes but your more likely to come across normal looking lesbians like Marloes Coenen and Liz Carmouche. Besides like I said it isn't just about sex, you aren't going to see sex it's the drama. If reality television has taught me anything straight girls are a six pack away from experimenting and women will hate on each other over nothing.

Nope and as it only ran for 6 weeks 6 years ago and you still remember it sounds like if it were tied to a national promotion it would have worked.

Didn't that show launch Gina Carano's career?

Maybe the show wasn't a big hit, but thank goodness for it.

Personally, I find women who have impressive skills very attractive no matter what they look like. Be it sports or other stuff. I've met girls who I thought we're minging, only to have my opinion completely changed when I see her excel at a sport or play an instrument beautifully. They then start to look beautiful to me.

I hate that "ugly" sports women get constantly trashed by the male fans. When I was 24, I may well have done it too! So, I'm not ragging on any of you guys here. But I've grown to really dislike it. Most male sports fans are sexist to some degree. All my close males friends hate sports. So I'm stuff in the middle. I love sports but hate sexism. *sigh*

In closing, Rousey is awesome to me. And if she looked like Cyborg I would feel no different at all.

Loving the video, certainly a new-found love for Ronda. I wish Julie Kedzie would blink a bit more though in that vid. She scares me everso slightly haha. TBH I'd hate to see women fight in the UFC, it'd get watered down into a beauty contest. Invicta and Jewels are the places to be for the best WMMA.

You can't build a women's sport up based on sex appeal and we're probably 15 years away from womens MMA reaching the same level as mens and that's assuming widespread involvement which is massively unlikely.
Then people stop caring and go back to watching the men.

Womens MMA will never be on the same level as mens because it's a ******* woman's sport.

There isnt' a womans sport on the planet that's on the same level as the men's from an entertainment standpoint other than maybe beach volleyball.

There'll always be a sizeable audience for WMMA, but it'll never get the mainstream attention the UFC does.
