It's true then again Ray has been out of the game for awhile. Still enjoyed that bout though, but for sure his mentality in kickboxing and inside a RING is completely different. He seems to shut down inside the Octagon...definitely doesn't let his hands go or utilizes his combinations the way he can. He unleashed once against Roy and had em against the fence and that was it. It was so anti-climatic.
Overall I would like to see Crocop with a two fight contract. He gets to choose. The fans don't want to see him hurt, but as Roy said he can still bang.
Some interesting matchups.
Bigfoot - interesting to see if he can win as his old adversary (Fedor) was unable to. This could also end very badly for CC.
Hunt - rematch
Big Nog - rematch. I think Crocop should be able to win now.
Struve - very winnable match for CC
Kongo - rematch. Shave a couple of years off and CC would have kicked him into oblivion.
Even though they're friends a bout with Werdum would propel him right back into the mix.
At this stage of his career he shouldn't fight the younger kats with power; Travis Browne or even Lavar Johnson.
Marquee match ups is the way to go for the purists and casual fans alike to enjoy. Heck I'm certain Randy would come out of retirement for a special event fight against Mirco Crocop.
