What has Belcher done that is even remotely impressive? Beat up Rousimar Palhares, Jason MacDonald and Patrick Cote? Belcher's a can crusher atm but if he can beat Vitor he'll easily be in line, that said, he still doesn't offer Anderson anything. Weidman has the chance to grind him out for five rounds or even submit him.
Dude what the hell has Weidman done compares to belcher? beat munoz coming off surgery at beat maia, a guy that hasnt looked good since HE was subbing cans. belcher at least has been around a lot longer and if he beats vitor will have a big name under his belt.

Cant believe people wanna see Silva lose so badly they wanna throw him inexperienced untested guys like weidman just because they can wrestle.

You guys will be so dissapointed if a poimts wrestler beats silva and we are stuck with another champ who cant finish fights.

Pacquiao agreed to the tests but Mayweather rejected a fair split on the money.

I want Silva to give up the title. Then, I'd like to see him beat Nick Diaz at catchweight (really would like to see Diaz beat him but...lol) and then beat GSP at catchweight in his retirement fight.

Weidman has beat two ranked opponents.

Belcher has beat none. Belcher's best win is the grossly overrated Rousimar Palhares.

Personally, I think after Belcher fights Vitor we won't even be talking about him anymore because I don't see him beating Vitor. And point fighter? Doesn't finish? Really? No wonder people are so against Weidman fighting Anderson, people clearly don't even watch him fight, he's finished everyone he's fought except Sakara and Maia, fights he took on short notice.

If Chris Weidman is a point fighter, well I don't know what to tell you.

Because on your last post you said

, indicating you think this is his best chance to beat Silva. I wasn't saying he has been a points fighter in the past. I was saying i'm shocked some of you actually hope that the greatest fighter of all time is dethroned with lay and pray to a relatively unknown guy who really hasn't had a fight to prove himself yet. Give him Sonnen or Bisping. Hype this thing up at least a little bit if your gonna do it.

You are right about one thing, though, if Belcher loses to Vitor that will shut me up about him. If he beats Vitor I think he is the most deserving. I mean really Belcher beat Akiyama if you watched their fight, which really puts him on a very nice streak.

Yes I did say he has a CHANCE to grind Anderson out, and really that might be the only way to beat Anderson. He's not exactly a scrub you know, I think Weidman has a chance of submitting him too since his top game is very, very good considering how long he's been doing BJJ. Either way, someone taking Anderson down is the only way he's gonna lose unless his chin fades and someone catches him. Vitor fought him and he just stood there, Anderson ducked and dodged every punch he threw which is remarkable considering Vitor's hand speed, Bisping doesn't have anything to offer him, Belcher is a good striker but not in Anderson's league and Boestch would get murdered. As a Weidman fan it wouldn't make a difference to me if he knocked him out with the first punch he threw or if he just laid on him for 25 minutes, as long as Weidman won I'd be happy.

And yes, if Belcher beats Vitor, I think he should get a title shot but he has to actually beat Vitor first and Vitor is a huge step up for Belcher.

OK yea. Lets kick the greatest fighter of a generation out because he refuses to fight every four months, even though none of the other champions do and almost no fighters do either.

Anderson Silva is so under-appreciated. 2013 is 4.5 months away. Do people realize how long it takes to set-up, promote, and train for title fights? Do people realize how hard training at that level is?

I am not saying he has to fight or even dogging him for being out. I am specifically responding to you saying his body can't take it anymore.
