The first Cerrone fight I seen was Vs Nate. I just thought it was Nate kicking ass as usual, but I've since watched back on Cerrone's fights and he's one of my fav fighters right now. Makes me appreciate the Nate win that much more. Hopfully Nate gets the first UFC title for the Diaz bros and Cerrone earns his rematch.

It's funny how the UFC lightweight division quickly morphed into the WEC lightweight division. Aint shit changed but the name on the belt!

Actually you're right...they made a statement! I actually thought Pettis would be holding the belt. He's the future of the sport.

I find Pettis to be a little bit overrated, unlike Cerrone. Ever since he lost to Nate Diaz, Cerrone has been a under the radar.

I think Cerrone will overwhelm Pettis with strikes to get the UD, as long as he avoids the power of Pettis's surprising kicks.

I don't think Cowboy has been under the radar after the Diaz fight. Everybody knows he fought a stupid fight. I'm sure the polls are going 50-50 between Pettis-Cerrone.

I'm quite confident Diaz will take the belt, so the more interesting fight then is Diaz vs Pettis IMO.

But Cerrone vs Pettis is a very close fight for me, I'm leaning towards Pettis for being stronger mentally and having great conditioning, but these two will bang and Cowboy is a well rounded powerhouse at LW.

Interesting times at 155lb, and I think a Diaz Bro is about to really fulfill his potential and silence a lot of doubters.

It seems like people automatically crossed him out when it came to title contention. I think he can still beat Diaz, Bendo, and some other guys too.

But yeah, he definitely shouldn't have fought like that against Diaz lol. I'd like to see a rematch down the road.

Great fight. Two guys I like to watch, kinda sad one has to lose.

Pettis is going to take it I think. Fight of the night candidate for sure.
