Honestly, I have no problems with Benson. I really like his approach on fighting and he seems like a genuine dude. He's not cocky if you ask me, he has that enlightened aura that he tries to give off, but you can tell he doesn't buy it 100%. Benson seems like a good dude, he's a little bit sassy and sarcastic, but his mannerisms and the way he carries himself are ok with me.

Jones is a different player. Jones comes off as a guy who enjoys making people suffer. He tries to play into people's egos, and he would love nothing more than to fight Anderson Silva and beat the absolute shit out of him for all to see. Nothing wrong with that, but his approach is brutal and downright nasty. I like the dude, I just wish I wasn't reminded how much he enjoys winning with his mannerisms and facial expressions as he says the complete opposite during an interview.

Very broad statement. Care to explain why exactly you think people are 'threatened' ?

I just don't like Henderson that much. I enjoy his fights but every time he talks I either cringe or mute.

I think threatened is the wrong word. To me when people choose to mention that they can't take him mentioning his religion or bible thumping or jesus freaks....I mean lets call it what it is..bigotry. Its very disrespectful and falls in line with a certain degree of hate. I dont see why people seem to think that belief in God should be something that you should keep secret or feel ashamed or embarrassed by. I think it shows the type of inner strength and conviction they have to mention it in the face of such animosity. If you don't want to hear it then thats your choice, just like if we don't want to hear Chael we should tune out. But to dislike someone for doing something that EVERY FIGHTER does in their interview...which is thank those he feels is responsible for where he is at that moment...its just sad to me. I guess all those on the so called "wrong end" of the religious spectrum can do is pray for those on the other side.

As for the topic at hand, Ben and Jon actually dont have alot in common. I mean they are confident but so is every other fighter and they both are religious but so are alot of other fighters and they are both black but so are alot of other fighters. So I guess the main thing that brings the hate is that they are Champions.

and mind of my mind,
two of a kind but one won't survive,

and his images reflect in mine the same time

I have nothing against Bendo... I really dislike Jones though.

and it's not the smugness or the cockyness... Jones just seems "off" to me. Something about him that I dislike.

You know why stop being naive

Saturday's fight could have probably gone to edgar but it isnt exactly a miscarriage of justice that henderson won.Yet the fans are in such outrage like it was the biggest screwjob in the history of mma.Its very disappointing but not at all surprising that all the vultures are now swarming ready to attack now that another new face has emerged from the pack thats not caucasian

go figure

To Live is 2 suffer, 2 survive? well that is 2 find meaning in the suffering

IMO they are both awesome, Jones being on another level though. I can't think of a reason to hate either.

Jones can be cocky because he is the best, he's defeating the best.
Henderson has proved nothing and shouldn't even be champion.

Diaz..Edgar.. Cormier.. Cain.. Mir.. Overeem.. Jon Jones
