Saying that BJ poked GSP in the eye intentionally is going a bit too far, but BJ is notorious for eye pokes.
I watched that shot over and over in slow motion and frame-by-frame. The punch in question was not really a punch. It was more of an extended, downward swat motion. BJís fingers were open and his thumb was extended. End result was a very nasty eye-poke.

Shortly after that BJ grazed the tip of GSPís nose with an upper-cut.

Only BJ knows for sure if the eye poke was truly intentional, although it was very reminiscent of the Hughes vs. Penn fight when Hughes also took a BJ thumb in the eye.

haha...after the lytle/hughes match I knew something was missing..... couldn't quite figure it out.

now i know

matt hughes didn't get poked in the eye of kicked in the balls.... very strange seeing as how trigg, st. pierre twice, and bj penn did it.

Tough argument right now. Fedor cant control who he fights and has still yet to lose a single round in his career. GSP cant say that. He got arm barred by Hughes(cant see Fedor ever tapping out, even to Jesus), and he got tooled by BJ in that first round and basically had to win that fight with takedowns. Im trying to picture GSP at like 6'2 225 and the picture in my mind is one scary dude. But here are my rankings.

Fedor
BJ(when he fights at 155)
GSP
Shogun
Filho
Hughes

Mancrushes
1.Shogun
2.BJ
3.Fedor
4.Kos
5.GSP

Im in Porno's

The first "low-blow" was borderline, the second was bogus, even Matt himself admitted that.

On topic: Fedor is the best by a country mile. GSP may have the skills and athleticism, but he doesn't have Fedor's intangibles (yet?)
