UFC 151: Jon Jones Says Dan Henderson Is 'An Older, Slower Version Of Rashad Evans'

Dan Henderson has never really been known as a trash-talker. He says what's on his mind sometimes, but he rarely goes out of his way to rag on anyone unless it's Michael Bisping. Hendo's recent comments about his UFC 151 opponent, light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, felt the same way. In an interview with MMA Fighting, Bones acted surprised by Hendo's comments:
"I just expected so much more out of him," Jones told MMA Fighting. "He's an older, more respectable guy. He's a guy's guy. I was a fan of his. But he doesn't respect me, so now, I have no respect for him, and I'm going to show that the night of the fight."
Jones then returned fire, responding to a question about whether there's anything Hendo has that Jones hasn't seen before:
"No," he said. "I feel as if he’s an older, slower version of Rashad Evans."
After discussing how much more he feels he has to do in the sport and briefly touching on his Nike deal, the topic turned back to his UFC 151 bout. When asked about Hendo being on TRT, he said that it's actually a motivating factor for him:
"It feels funny fighting a guy his age," he said. "To know that he has some advantages helps me train harder and not to think anything about having mercy on him."
I'm surprised he'd consider having mercy on anyone for any reason, but Jones is a unique guy. All this back-and-forth will be settled in 10 days.

In a way Dan is nothing new for Jones.
This will be his 3rd fight in a row against an opponent who should/could be fighting at MW while he could easily fight HWs.

Jones is off point here. Hendo actually has killer instinct and no fear, whilst Rashad doesn't possess those attributes.
That makes him a more dangerous opponent than Rashad IMO. Still think the odds are around 70/30 in favour of Jones though.

lol Jones can really make me sick with his comments but there is some amount of truth to what he's saying here.
Hendo doesn't really have anything that Rampage or Rashad are missing. Well Hendo does have a better chin than Rashad but he's also slower and has worse cardio and worse offensive wrestling.
I see Hendo as extremely similar to Rampage, and I think the fight will look similar to that fight as well, with Jones dominating a few rounds only to tap Hendo out in say the third or fourth.
