I like the fight but I don't like why they're fighting.

Don't be scared, Carlos.

As much as Condit would deserve it, that would leave GSP without a fight when he's ready. Having said that, maybe GSP having a non title fight against another top 10 WW might be the perfect scenario for all parties involved. Give us an idea of where GSP's knee is at.

It'll nave happen though. GSP's comeback fight is going to be a money spinner. It has to be against whoever has the interim belt. Even if it isn't sensible.

Kampmann should send this wrestle-boxer to the back of the line, he's drastically improving in each and every fight.

Should be a fairly competitive fight, but I'll take Kampmann via submission at some point later in the fight.

I was assuming that GSP wouldn't be back as early as they said he would.

By the time they're ready to go GSP will likely be ready to return.

They will....

After Condit knocks GSP out in the main event....of the very same card.

As for the actual Hendricks/Kampmann fight, who knows, Kampmann obviously isn't one to count out but can he really survive if Hendricks gets him in a similar spot that Alves and Ellenberger had him? I don't know.

If he's laid up an extra couple of months then yes, Condit should be made to defend.

Quite frankly, Kampmann has already earned his shot, IMO. He just finished two of the toughest guys in the division, and should arguably be riding a 7 win streak, not to mention he already has a win over Carlos.

Hendricks needs another big name win to deserve a shot, but they could easily have put him in a co-main with someone like Alves or Silva (this is more interesting to me than Fitch.) While NBK wreaks his vengeance on Kampmann.

I consider beating Koscheck and Fitch back to back *very* impressive indeed. I'm not sure there's an argument Kampmann deserves it over Hendrix. This matchup will certainly clear that up.

2 on 1? ZST approves!

Isn't this fight on the Condit/GSP undercard? Condit maybe should have defended the interim belt on the undercard, but it would make no sense to see Hendricks/Condit on this one. Why would the interim champ be facing someone other than the full champ? Condit Vs GSP, although completley boring, is the match up that should have been made. I like this one, and I'm assuming that if Hendricks wins he will become the number 1 contender. If Kampmann wins, it leaves the division in a bit of a wierd place. No one would really deserve a title shot. With the exception of a potential rematch for GSP if he loses (which surprisingly would actually clean up the divison), no one really deserves a title shot. I think the best bet would to give Rory MacDonald the title shot if he beats Penn (although I'm not sure how him and GSP would be in fighting each other). If Penn wins, then give Kampmann the shot.

It will not be a boring fight, the only people who think Condit is boring are butthurt Nick Diaz fans, and people who have only seen him fight once. It's also going to end with Condit taking GSP's life so how is that gonna be boring?

Second, Kampmann absolutely deserves a shot at the title if he wins, four fight winning streak over Story, Alves, Ellenberger, and Hendricks is absolutely worthy of a title shot, and a lot of people thought he got robbed against Shields and Diego, I however think he lost both of those. The division wouldn't be in limbo at all, everyone becomes relevant again if Condit wins, which he will.

And Condit slaughters Rory again, so if Rory wants another ass whippin' he's more than welcome to come get one.
