UFC promote more fighters FFS

Its about time the UFC started giving a little more attention to the Undercard fighters etc and ffs bring in a bloody ranking system for once and for all to give everyone a chance to earn a shot not just those that get lucky to be picked for the UFC reality show.
Im not one for UFC is better than pride etc but one of the main reasons i stopped watching boxing was because of the convenient money matchups and meaningless belts e.g WBU/WBO.
The UFC will end up putting its head up its own arse at this rate and that would be a waste as it can be so much better than it is now, it reminds me of an Arcade game where you end up with just 16 fighters and a few secret unlocks lol.
Cmon UFC dont let your standards slip just to facilitate advertising space and predicatbel mattchups - dont fail where boxing has.

And they need to do away with "Former champ fights 1 no-name to get another title shot" match-ups. I'm sick of watching Guy1 vs Guy2 part 3.

I think their stable of fighters is getting to the point where they could at least have more fight nights or something. Have guys like Fitch and Marquardt headlining these so people really get to see their talents. Putting guys who are potential headliners on undercards is ridiculous and unfair to the fighters. As to the "money" match ups, this will never go away. UFC is a business first and foremost and unfortunately their is a large group of people who only recognize fighters who were on tuf and continue wanting to see them in fights though they are inferior to other talent who wasnt(GG Burkman vs Karo).

You're right, we don't need to see huge names headlining a fight everytime. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a fightnight with all newcomers at all if it means more fightnights.

I think the UFC should AT LEAST follow suit with Pride on their PPV products. Show us ALL the fights when we pay $40 to see it. Pride 33 for 39.99 had 9 outstanding (minus the stupid Trigg lay and gay) fights. The last UFC one had what? 4 fights? and no undercards shown afterwards? Give me a break!

I agree official rankings are needed. I too do not think a former champ should automatically get a title shot again unless he beats the number 1 contender. But like someone previously mentioned...people for some reason TUF nuthug and want to only see the second rate fighters instead of the people who ACTUALLY earned their way into the UFC and not through a publicity stunt!
