Jackson is trying his best to convince us that somehow Sonnen would have been better prepared for the fight then Jones. As if fighting on 3 days notice only applies to Bones.

The MLB schedule is insane. They usually play 27/28 out of 30 days a month. The NBA, not so much.

It's 12 week training camp + 8 days of notice on new opponent VS no training camp + 8 days of notice on new opponent.

I don't know what the hell Greg Jackson is talking about.

This is just a very selfish move from Bones.

Put your pride aside and help out your fellow fighters and all of the fans that pay for your ridiculously expensive vehicles that you care so much about that you decide to wrap them around telephone poles.

I will never buy a Bones PPV as long as he gets a cut. Streaming FTW!


I've never played Baseball but I played competitive Basketball in high school (state level) and even at that level playing twice a week wrecks you. It's an incredibly fast paced sport, you run up the court on offense, than as soon as you score (or don't), you have to run back on defense. There's no ingame break time, it's 48 minutes of intensity.

There's a reason why the "Rookie wall" exists.

Well in sports its not a one and done situation. If they lose a game they have other games that they can win. If it was a one and done situation then more time to prepare might be warrented. As for Chael of course he accepted the fight, this is his MO. Get a fight I dont really deserve and get a payday to lose to a far superior fighter.

Honestly my two cents is that Jon didnt want to put another huge check in Chael's pocket that he didnt earn. I am not mad at all at how this played out. Chael doesn't deserve it and fighting him and winning does nothing for Jon.
