Opinions are not wrong nor right. That is why they are called opinions. She was asked, and she answered. One can only say what they would, or would not, do.
The Internet age, where people attempt to offer opinions as absolute fact.

I think its funny to hear all these fighters scream and whine and say this and that "I would have taken the fight bla bla bla" but when it comes down to it and they have to face the reality themselfs you just hear silence..
afterwards there is alot of speaking though

Ah I see Ronda is trying to sneak into the UFC forum by joining the lynchmob.
Just talk about your regular nonsense and go back to the WMMA forum that like 3 people read.
This from her, one week after she said she'd refuse to fight Cyborg at 145. Irony is lost on some people.

Exactly. Put all these criticizing fighters in the same position, and a lot more of them would do the same thing Jones did. Hypocrisy at its finest, people know it's easier to talk than act. Phonies, the whole lot of 'em. I respect people like King Mo who keep it real.

It's just something I can't imagine any of the true champions of the past doing.
Chuck, Wanderlei, Nog, Randy, BJ... I just can't see any of them saying 'no' to a replacement.
Bones is a new type of fighter in more ways than one. One of the big differences is because he came up after the sport was already established, he doesn't feel the same level of appreciation for and obligation to the fans as the last generation of fighters did.
Also, his comments about 'carrying the cross' for the UFC made my freaking blood boil and I'm not even a Christian. Don't compare yourself to Jesus, it's not a good look.

I agree with the irony thing, i thought the same thing when i read this.
But if you watch the video she talks about cyborg and more. She didn't just join the mob, the reporter asked her her opinion. And Rhonda did say "I havent talked to jon personally so i cant really comment but if it was me, i would have."
I think her whole point was that she has been on the undercards where the main event fell threw and she didnt have rent money because of it, and she wouldnt do that to anyone else.. Which really makes me question, what event? Its not like she has 20 fights or something. And you dont make money in amateur (Atleast enough to pay for bills) unless you get sponsors.

I love how the natural reaction of people who don't agree with her is to discredit her and women's MMA. Hmmm... actual fighter AND a champion? Yeah, what Ronda has to say is worth a hell of a lot more than anything you bozos are peddling.
Some people are going to be okay with what Bones did, and others won't be. Get over it.

good post
my pov is abit of both - i can understand what he did and dont blame him at all, BUT of course it tarnishes his reputation as a 'fighter' and can see why it would lose him fans
as for Ronda, i dont necessarily disagree but i dunno if i love her attitude that much. like the whole soap box thing isnt attractive on any of the fighters, male or female
