I dont know man... i just dont see how this was a smart decision on ANY fronts.
But what the hell. Whats done is done. Jones lost the respect of may fans and fighters. If he is okay with that then that is all there is to it.

I agree with everything you're saying here. Except that Sonnen is an "easy" win. Sonnen spent the better part of two years attacking my favorite fighter of all time, making stuff up, and talking trash to his finest definition. He is without a doubt talking trash again, however this time around he's actually using facts and exagerating them in a media attention getting way. My point is, I may not be the biggest Chael Sonnen fan, but even on 8 days notice, I don't think he's a "gimme" fight for anyone, not even Jon Jones.
Good decision, maybe not... eh.. who knows? it'll all blow over once the next event comes and goes and Jones runs over Vitor.

But everything Bisping has said is true. I said before you can't blame the whole cancellation on Bones but the company and people that are largely responsible for making him a millionaire superstar have come to him and asked a favour of him and he has said no. It's up to him and the event didn't need to be cancelled because of it but that is pretty weak and bratty behaviour whatever way you look at it. |

What do you think Bispings motives are for saying this stuff? To tell us all the truth? No. It's to gain yet more favour with Dana and the UFC.
I usually side with Bisping on many things, but what he's doing here is most un-British like. The whole teachers pet routine is chunder worthy. |

Dude Bisping is a Dick. He knows it and has admitted to it and everyone else knows it lol. Dana White even called him a dick before.
Does he need a reason other then trying to make himself look bad ass and getting to insult someone else???? 
Or maybe he just wanted to speak the truth.

Don't get me wrong. I like Bisping and his dickisms. But this isn't him being a dick. This is uncomfortable brown nosing of his boss. Something Bones used to be really good at! |

Quiet frankly everything Bisping said is the truth.
Maybe a bit of brown nosing if thats how you want to look at it but if its all true then that is really the only thing that matters.

Say what you want but Bisping is a company man and does what is needed cause he shows his gratitude. I like Bisping more and more all the time.

Why do you need motives to tell the truth? I highly doubt the UFC is going to give me a contender fight, but I'll tell you right now Jones bitched out and he is a horrible company man who spit in the face of the people who got him where he is.
Bisping, me, a vast amount of people on this forum and everywhere else in the MMA world are saying so, it has nothing to do with sucking up to Dana.
