The season kicks off next week. There's no way any of these guys have Time for Overeem.
ETA: Maybe he's taking tips on juicing without getting caught from a whole NFL team, that makes more sense.

The article says their working on his cardio. He very well could do some pro football routines without taking anyones time.

In other words, he's playing the Chael Sonnen game and trying to bypass Cain.

Cain doesn't deserve a title shot anyway, Junior knocked him out in 64 seconds and since then he's destroyed Bigfoot who was coming off a loss.

How's he trying to bypass Cain by getting a fight lined up as soon as his license gets revoked, champ or not? And this whole interview was with his manager, not Alistair.

The quote is ambiguous (and nonsensical.) You don't need other 300lb men to do cardio, and you don't "fend people off" when you're doing cardio.
Also, I'm guessing you don't actually watch American football (Try to catch some this season, it's awesome. Especially if you Tivo it and watch the next day so you can fast forward through all the inaction.) Cardio isn't really a strong point for these guys. It typically has short, highly intense bursts of activity, followed by lots of standing around. And when someone actually sprints any serious distance, they often get switched out and given oxygen.
It's just not the sport you'd look to for cardio training. Strength, explosiveness, agility, sure. Not cardio.

This is timed in a way to make him look good after being caught doping. Even though he did that, this makes him seem much more respectable than a certain other UFC fighter at the moment.
Still good to hear though, I can't wait to see Reem in the cage again. He should fight the winner of Silva vs Browne.

I've seen my fair share of football and played the hell out of madden. Tivo? My only option is to stream the games, Europe. Who knows what his doing there, i just can't wait to see him back.
