Do you think Belfort has a high chance at winning? I personally don't think so, unless Jones comes into the fight injured or out of shape. I think Belfort prolly will get taken down and hes not amazing on the bottom. But go Vitor!!!

Well vitor is definitely a harder matchup for jones than hendo... but unfortunately, we are still going to have to see hendo vs jones down the road too =\

The reach difference is going to make it hard for Belfort to punch the back of Bones' head so I don't see it as likely.

Who knows. Vitor has heavy hands and moves fast, that might be the only tool to defeat Jones. If he can get inside, he'll have a chance.

ROFL, I don't see him being able to catch Jones in a rush. Its not impossible just improbable.

Jones can control the fight even if he started losing the stand-up he can take Vitor down maybe not at will but when it counts.

I just think a Guy like Vitor who doesn't move laterally very well is tailor made for Jones to beat. Jones.can just pump that jab step to the side and unleash with counters.

I put 5 down on Vitor with odds that good might as well, I've seen crazier things happen but I'm not holding my breath.

i would really like to think that vitor has a good chance...

but my gut tells me jones is going to make shoguns beating look tame.

vitor just hasnt shown me enough in the last few years that he has what it takes to compete with these guys.

i hope im wrong.

Since 2007 he has seven completely one sided fights, five KOs, one sub. And a loss to Silva...which shouldn't even be mentioned considering no UFC fighter can beat him. Vitor has been wrecking people rather easily (granted some were pretty illegal back of the head strikes). Not sure what exactly you're looking for over the past five years.

Vitor can KO anyone he touches. Hes faster than Hendo which is critical against Jones. Lets hope he can rush and first round murder him.

not sayiong vitor isnt a good fighter or that he doesnt have the hands to take jones out. I personally hope he pulls out a impressive win and will be cheering for him but..

johnson, akiyama, lindlman are not top 5 fighters.franklin at the time was a good win but not in todays context of him. theres a big difference from these to fighting silva(which was shown pretty clearly) or jones.

so my view is based on the fact he has not taken out a top level fighter in some time and now he is going up wieght class to a person that had pretty clearly dealt with every "top" guy they have thrown at him and i feel his reach will give vitor issues.

like i said i hope im wrong
