Joe Rogan asks the question: Experience or youth?

While I realize that Jones vs. Hendo is not going down anytime soon (How could you not on this board) the question remains valid and interesting.

Youth represents innovation, evolution, optimism, athletisism and curiousness.

Experience represents know-how, bigger bags of tricks, a deeper understanding of the game, confidence and a lot of practice.

So - in your opinion - which is preferrable?

What if Experience is coupled with TRT use?

... then you get the best of both worlds so it seems.

Is there anybody who doesn't enjoy experience vs youth match-ups?

I like them, but it depends on how aged the experienced fighter is.

If it's a guy like Chuck who gets knocked out by the wind when he sticks his head out his car window, then I have no interest in it, as regardless of how skilled/experienced he is, he's physically too weak to compete.

Totally agree. Competitiveness is a prerequisite for any fight to be interesting. Seeing some old fecker getting beaten on is no fun.

It really depends who. I'm not interested in watching any of the old dogs get thrown to young lions (like Cain V Nog) unless of course the old dog is still a semi spring chicken.

The key to staying a spring chicken is fighting like Anderson. He's never going to deal with Chuck's problem because he never really gets hit.
