Iv read it on a few different websites so it is true.

Anderson Silva doesnt want to fight until 2013 and said when he comes back he will be happy to fight Weidman. Dana White himself said before this article that he never offered Anderson anything and wont because Anderson told him he does not want to fight until 2013.

We will probably see Anderson back the second month of 2013. Thats my guess.

At the time he beat him, the only thing munoz was goin through was a box of tissues

Completley with you. I have NO idea where this is coming from. He's alright in every area. Not half of the wrestler that Sonnen is, and on the stand up? He's fighting Anderson Silva, 'nuff said. I don't see it lasting very long and I don't think he's anywhere close to the title shot. Mark Munoz is nothing. If he gets a win over Belcher/Bisping/Stann then maybe, but he's beat nobodies.

Ironically, the only Weidman fight I haven't seen is the Maia fight because I can't find it online.

Pre-152, I would have said Belcher/Belfort. I personally would have had it Belcher/Belfort for #1 Contendership and Wiedman Vs Bisping/Stann. I think regardless of the situation, Weidman needs a big win. Belcher is the key opponent to me, for the #1 Contendership. Beating Mark Munoz and getting a title shot is almost as bad as annoying someone on Twitter and getting a title shot.

My dream scenario though is for AS to vacate the title, fight Diaz at catchweight, and then fight GSP at catchweight.

Well, who had Thales Leites beat before fighting Anderson? Or even Demian Maia? He beat Sonnen in his return fight to the UFC, so Sonnen wasn't even ranked. Not to mention Patrick Cote, who got a shot by beating Almeida who wasn't even top 10 at the time.

EDIT:

I'd love a #1 contenders fight between Belcher and Weidman. That would mean that Anderson would have a superfight with say GSP in early 2013, and won't be able to defend the title until the summer. I hate to have a division tied up for so long, even if it is because of a GSP superfight.

So because they got free shots, Weidman should too?

EDIT PART: As I said I'd like to see AS vacate the title if he wants to move into that stuff. If he doesnt, I feel that both WW and MW need some clear challengers. Belcher/Weidman secures a MW one, and I was thinking Henricks/Kampmann Vs BJ/MacDonald for the WW (Given that GSP wins because challengers gets more limited). I know the divisions will be tied up, but I think it will, pardon the gay ass metaphor, unravel them slightly. We will have top contenders clear and also will get the superfight which will say "Fuk you" to May/Pac in boxing. Good for the divisions, great for MMA. Win/Win.

I'm not saying that, I'm saying that he's done more than those guys did to earn his shot. As has Belcher, and perhaps even Tim Boetch.

Tim Boetch loses to everyone though (apparently with the exception of "The next big thing" lmao).

I mean yeah, Belcher and Weidman have some wins, but no one that you'd also consider a contender (well, argueable with Munoz). Contenders need wins over other contenders. In Bisping/Belcher/Stann/Weidman get a win over Lombard, I think that's massive too. One awful performance doesnt change his entire skill set you know.

Some of the #1 contender fights got screwed up because of upsets... (Boetch comes to mind with wins over Okami and Lombard).

I still think Weidman is 1 fight away. Now that Belfort stepped up to 205 for the belt, give Chris a fight with Belcher, it makes perfect sense since Silva wants to relax until 2013.

Bisping/Stann are in the mix but need 1-2 wins to get there. Hector will probably rebound and need 2 VERY dominant wins and Okami is scraping by and rebounding as well.

Chael and Vitor up at 205 clears a lot of room for guys to get back onto the saddle.... Maybe Maia and Munoz and a few others could get back into title contention, time will tell.
