Ironically, the only Weidman fight I haven't seen is the Maia fight because I can't find it online.
So let me get this straight.

Guy with the top ten win - nothing.
Guys without top ten wins - contenders.

Okay..... :/

Belcher is injured with a spinal fracture. Lets see Anderson defend the belt since it's only been defended once since this time last year.

Top 10 wins? The only legit good win Wiedman has is Munoz, throughout his entire MMA career.

Weidman is a contender, no doubt, but so are the other names I mentioned. None of them deserve a title shot, they have to get big wins Vs each other.

My main issue is "He's AS's biggest test" or "He has a great chance to win". Weidman isn't even in the same sport as Chael Sonnen and I think he gets KTFO by Belfort and Hendo.

Hector Lombard
Rich Franklin
Michael Bisping/Brian Stann
Alan Belcher
Vitor Belfort

If Weidman gets a win over any of them, he is worthy of a title shot imo.

Belfort who has fought only TWICE at MW in the UFC? Once against Silva, where he was KOd in a humiliating fashion, and the second fight was against Akiyama who is hardly in anyone's top 10.

Fedor, Mir, Lytle, Serra, Hendo, Chuck, Minowaman, Maynard, Forrest, Hunt
Pickett, Cerrone, Matt Brown, Bisping, Weidman, Barnett, Lawler

Belfort, who is 7-1 in his last 8, with 1 Decision and 5 first round finishes? (With his only loss being a title fight against the best fighter on the planet via freak KO).

Yeah, that Belfort.

and how many of those fights were at 185?

see, what he has done in other weight classes should have no bearing on his ranking in the 185 pound division.

I'm still really pissed off that Hendo got to fight Anderson at 0-0 and that Rampage got to fight Chuck at 1-0.

Just because someone moves promotions or changes weight class, doesn't mean their history doesnt exist.

Also, excluding catchweights? He only faught the first two cage rage ones at LHW. The rest were (again, excluding catchweights) MW. So, out of 8...6?
