Rashad's wresting has gone to shit the last few years compared to what it was. His striking is nothing compared to Anderson's as well.

If Machida wrecks Rashad, so does Anderson.

I would certainly not be disappointed in this matchup.

Rashad has to realise that he'd probably need 1 victory at 185 to get the title shot and his not getting it just like that. Would be a helluva fight though.

I see a repeat in the making:

And I like Rashad, so not bashing him - I just don't think he could handle AS

I'd love to see this. Biggest possible MW fight by far. Rashad only has two losses- to Machida (during his top stage) and a decision loss against Bones. Granted it's impossible to say someone will beat Silva at this point, but Rashad has as good of a chance as any.

Rashad would get destroyed and finished, but this fight isn't going to happen anyway so it's a moot point.

I agree with this... if Rashad comes into the fight "spooked" by Anderson Silva's mystique... he will get KO'd.

They should do Weidman/Rashad for a title shot. If Rashad were to look real good it would make the Anderson fight all that more anticipated. If Weidman beats Rashad, you have a young, green, beast that just took out a top 205er. A Rashad win would carry his career for years even if he were to tank later.

Anderson probably doesn't want to train until 2013 because he likes to train with Machida while they both are having their camps.

Lets all remember, Rashad won't be a small 205er anymore. He isn't going to have as much of a speed/athletic advantage that he had over guys like Thiago, Rampage, Tito, Forrest, Chuck

I would move weight if I were Rashad. He isn't a young pup anymore, it is now or never for going to 185. Don't see what he has to prove at 205 so long as Bones is the champ. He can come back up to 205 in his later years when Bones is most likely at HW. But right now I don't see him beating Jones and being a Jon Fitch type guy. Why not try to go after P4P #1 all time while you can? When you have a chance to take him down?
