I hope this is sarcastic, we literally just saw this on the last TUF with Cristiano Marcello.
TUF is completely and utterly stale, I haven't seen an exec drag a reality show out this long since the Real World. It fails as a recruitment tool for good fighters and it fails as entertaining TV; like another poster before has mentioned, they really need to pick one and stick with it: either be a recruitment method or entertainment, but dont half-ass both!

Why do I need to be sarcastic to say this?

I'm not meaning it like it's the first time we've all seen a BJJ do MMA. I mean it like, every BJJ guy makes the transition to MMA with varying degrees of success, I'm interested to see how Diffley does at this level.

I should have been clearer

You actually just further proved his point.

MOST of those fighters suck and are never going to be anything more in the UFC then filler.

The ultimate fighter used to bring us fighters like

Forrest Griffin
Stephan Bonnar
Mike Swick
Josh Koscheck
Kenny Florian
Nate Quarry
Chris Leben
Joe Stevenson
Luke Cummo
Mike Whitehead
Marcus Davis
Keith Jardine
Rashad Evans
Kendal Grove
Ed Herman
Michael Bisping
Gray Maynard
Matt Wiman
Joe Lauzon
ROB EMERSON!! (1 of the top P4P fighters to ever walk the earth)

Nate Diaz
Manny Gamburyan
Cole Miller

and others...

Its fact that the talent in TUF has dropped drastically. They used to go for people with credentials and talent and they obviously wanted to fight for more then just the fame or TV. Now a days they go for personality and thats really it. Iv seen some of them have more losses on their record then wins. I think i saw someone with a 0-0 record. And some guys are there strictly for TV. They dont even look disappointed when they lose.

We are lucky if we get 1 or 2 fighters that maybe have potential.

Ben Henderson proves this as much as anyone, he was denied entry to Tuf and signed onto WEC instead. That was for the UK vs. USA series, would of had a champion from it.

1. Some of those fighters UFC records are hardly successful
Mike Whitehead 0-1
Kendell Grove 7-6
Luke Cummo 3-4
Joe Stevenson 8-8
Ed Herman 7-6
Manny Gamburyan 3-5

2. Siler, Dodson, Johnson, Brookins, Caceres, Nijem, Ferguson, Dillashaw, and Bermudez are all closing in on top ten rankings/title shots.

3. Season 1 was filled with fighters that would have been signed anyways.

4. Amir Sadollah had a 0-0 record when he competed on the show, he beat Gerard Harris, CB Dollaway, and Matt Brown three UFC caliber fighters. Amir is still in the UFC BTW so I guess he doesn't suck that much.

Rob Emerson is very underrated, he'll make his comeback soon and he could easily be fighting for a title shot before its all said and done.

As far as tuf goes, less talent for sure but it's still worthwhile IMO.
