Olympic wrestling backed with really good boxing? He seems like a handful for anyone. If he can come down the weight in a good way...as he should be able to get rid of that gut then i can see him giving Jones a better fight than anyone.

He wasn't commenting on Cormier's skills. He was commenting on you saying that he could join Couture and Vera in having won belts in 2 divisions. Vera has never held a belt in the UFC.

Alright, I have stayed out of the convo, but hell why not. Cormier would get beaten worse than Rampage, Shogun, and Lyoto combined. While he has skills he can no way make the cut after so many years of not doing it, let alone nearly dying when doing it once, and come in with ANY cardio. It would be like Carwin, he has 2 minutes to win the fight and then he is gassed. Jones would wreck him so bad that Cormier might get straight cut.
You guy can call it any way you want, but until I see him make the cut and live, and then fight someone at 205 worth while I really don't care about Cormier. To me he is like Lombard, talk all you want, until you get in the cage and prove it nothing you say matters.

At LHW, Bones would make quick work of Cormier. At HW, that's a different story. If Cormier loses to Mir he should back up his talk and drop to LHW permanently.

He would have to get down in training, he has a lot of excess weight he can shred - small frame for HW.

I agree. I think if he can make the right, and healthy cut, he can get down to 205 easy.

I don't think he can make 205, to much trouble in the past. at HW he has a good shot.

My second favorite guy at 205 or above. Would absolutely love to see him fight JBJ, too bad he would probably not make the cut. Asides from JDS he has gotta be the most exciting HW right now. Fights like a true fighter should, doesn't go for point or rounds, fights like a man on a mission from the start.

Would love to see this fight happen; something tells me Cormier does not like Jones.
