I'm looking at salarys for UFC 117 when he fought Alves the 2nd time.

He made 54,000 to show and another 54,000 for the win. 108,000. Take 20,000 out for training and trainers cut. Say he makes 75,000 on that fight. Add in his sponsors and and he took home 80,000 plus.

It isn't bad money. There are a lot of vets that don't earn that yet have much of the same costs. He doesn't fill the seats, he doesn't sell PPVs. So what really is he expecting? He should be happy that he has the ability to make over 100 grand for grinding out wins and wrestling guys.

I am not now, nor have I ever been a Jon Fitch hater... in fact I've cheered for him in the majority of his fights. But another fact is the world is about to see just how REAL Erick Silva is... and it's at the cost of your head Jon, sorry.

Fitch has no one to blame but himself. Good fights and marketing yourself produces higher income. He believes in neither. He makes plenty enough as it is, if he wants more, he can earn it.
