I'm in for that. Cruiser weight at 230lbs and above that an open HW without limitation. I've never understood the limitation anyways.

Anderson if he wanted. If not then Machida. Jones would be just too thin at 185.

You guys would really like that?

You would like JDS, Cain, Roy, Cormeir, Big Nog in one division?

And Overeem, Mir, and a bunch of gassing sloppy fighters in the other?

Why?

The last 2 champs of the HW division have been guys that would make 230. Weight isn't a factor. Both those divisions would be thin as hell.

Weight is always a factor, it may not always be the deciding factor but it matters. The entire premise of weight classes is to take away the advantages of size.

Cruiserweight would be fine, in fact it would draw fighters like Jones and griffin as well. Mir would also be there, the main reason he beefed up was to be able to compete with monsters like Brock.

The heavyweight division would suffer but cruiserweight would be anything but thin. Guys like Berry and Vera would not have to worry about fighting guys with huge weight/size advantages like Kongo.

It IMO would make for a very competitive division on one hand and strip the HWs division of some of its best fighters. I would still like to see it.
