Dos Santos involved in car accident on same day as teammate Jose Aldo

Earlier today Fighters Only reported that UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo was hit by a car while he was riding on a motorcycle in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro this past Saturday. Well that same day, another Brazilian champion was involved in a car crash in Salvador, Bahia.

Junior dos Santos had his car damaged by another motorist and complained about the person's ‘bad energy’ for the unfortunately incident. “

“The traffic in Salvador is frightening. They just hit my car and didn't even stop, continued on their way as if it were a normal situation. Please, let's be more conscious and respect other people. We gain nothing with violence and disrespect in traffic. Give passage and let things go peacefully,” Dos Santos reflected afterwards.

Answering a follower on Twitter, Cigano wrote that he did not get the car’s registration. “I didn't take the number man, but I will tell you that I want to be distant from a person like this. He/She has a bad energy.

In the cage - where he is a lot safer - Dos Santos is currently riding a ten-fight win streak. He holds a 15-1 record and is coming off an overwhelming victory over Frank Mir at UFC 146 in May. His upcoming challenge is set for December 29, when he will grant Cain Velasquez a chance to get back the belt he lost in November last year.

Small world... at least no one was seriously hurt. I really like the way Dos Santos sees the world! He's like a Brazillian hippie warrior, LOVE the man!
