Wow..I hate this fight. Chris is gonna kill him. Tim is a can basically. He got beat down for 10 minutes by Okami before he landed some bombs. The Fight versus Lombard was just awful. And I still think Lombard won, he out wresltled Tim and almost finished him.

I can't believe I'm saying this but winner of this fight should get a title shot. Weidman and Boestch seriously have the weirdest records in the UFC right now.

Weidman's beaten Damian Maia, a fight where Maia decided to box it out with Weidman instead of trying to play to his own strengths and submit him on the ground. Then he KO's an out of surgery Mark Munoz...it's just a fishy ass resume he has, to top it off, he's fighting a guy just as strange as him.

Tim Boestch gets his ass kicked for 2 rounds by Yushin Okami, then somehow KO's him in the last round, weird ass fight. Then he fights Hector Lombard and wins via calf kicks, another weird ass fight.

Now we've got two weird ass guys fighting for a shot at the title. Both relatively unproven with reasonable resumes on paper, but questionable performances mostly due to their opponents.

If I could have it my way, I'd say winner of Boestch/Weidman fights Bisping(assuming he beats Stan) for number 1 contendership, if Bisping loses then they get number 1 contendership.

lmao, how does Weidman have a weird ass record? This guy has literally dominated everyone he's fought except for Maia when he cut 32 lbs in 11 days.

It's clear he's a great talent.

He's dominated dick. Who has he fought? Maia? The guy who decided to test his boxing against him instead of working his jits and winning the fight? Yeah...no.

Mark Munoz? A fat Mark Munoz fresh out of rehab from his elbow surgery, yeah...no.

What's reality here? Reality is Maia lost himself the fight. Munoz is a man's man and took the fight against Weidman prematurely after his surgery. Munoz is not the kind of guy who will give excuses and he's also not the kind of guy who will back down; I respect Munoz for that, but he ****ed himself on this one. He had a serious surgery mid-January on his elbow, and fought Weidman early July...Lets see, January, February, March, April, May, June...that's 6 months. It takes approximately a month and a half to heal from the surgery, but then there's rehabilitation time as well, which can take 2-4 months...and you're still not 100% after that, a training camp is usually 3 months...so yeah, Munoz came in prematurely, he should've taken another month or two, whatever.

Seriously dude, look at the size of the bone fragments removed from his arm...that's some serious shit.

I've already gone through this man, Munoz may or may not have been in shape and if you believe that, that's fine but this guy has looked phenomenal against everyone they've put him in there with minus Maia, and had he fought Maia on normal circumstances I think he'd have stopped Maia as well. Is it murderer's row? No but it's very obvious Weidman is a talented fighter and out of everyone at 185 lbs he's got the best shot of giving Anderson his toughest fight.

Personally, if GSP beats Condit, I don't see the winner of this' next fight being Anderson anyway, if GSP/Anderson happens it'll probably happen in April and the winner of this would have to fight the winner of Bisping/Stann. Belcher's just kinda ****ed he could fight Shields, Okami again or wait until Vitor comes back to 185.

I feel bad for Boetsch, say what you want but that man earned a title shot. Is the guy the best fighter? No but the fact remains that he has kept beating the guys he wasn't supposed to beat and considering he beat the guy who just fought for the title and beat a guy who was promised a title shot had he beaten Boetsch. The fact is that he has every right to fight for the title even if nobody thinks he has a chance. Right now I would argue that Boetsch is the rightful #1 contender in the MW division even though there are a number of far better fighters. This is Tim's big moment and maybe I am a sentimental fool but I hate seeing it taken away from him. Weidman has a future he will eventually earn a shot but its sad it has to be at Tim's expense. Then again I keep expecting Boetsch to lose and he keeps finding a way to win.

While Boetsch hasn't done it impressively, he has better wins than Weidman. So this fight makes sense to me.

Winner of this should get a title shot, and I think it'll be Weidman.

damn a lot of disrespect for both fighters, tim is a solid contender i dont get all this hate i think tim could beat bisping at least. I dont get why so many think hes a can he has some solid skills and his comeback in the okami fight was impressive you cant call that a fluke

and weidman is weidman...hes a beast, if you cant see his potential by his dominations then sorry but i guess time will tell, ppl can bitch now that hes being overhyped but just like JBJ did hes gonna prove his hype at some point

If GSP/Silva happens the winner of this is probably fighting the winner of Bisping/Stann. This is the logical fight to make I don't know why so many people are complaining about it.
