I personally don't think either Chris or Tim would beat Bisping... It's a bad matchup for both of them. Chris couldn't take him down and would get KO'd or picked apart.
Tim would get picked apart or taken don and submitted...

I guess UFC matchmakers can't make everybody happy.

I personally like this fight. I hope both these guys bring it, though I think Chris Weidman takes it.

I'm a little late to this thread, but I like this fight as well but think Weidman is going to steamroll Boetsch. Weidman in my opinion will throw a few straight punches to start things off and quickly take this fight to the ground and within 3 or 4 minutes I believe Botesch will be put away with solid ground and pound.

He could lose to a sub as well, but I don't think it'll come to that. I'm going for a tko finish within the first round.

1. BJ "The Prodigy" Penn
2. Dan "Hollywood" Henderson
3. George "Rush" St Pierre

I have it Bisping in a very close fight. I don't think Weidman gets him down, and definently doesnt keep him there. If Sonnen struggled with Bisping's grappling then you can be sure that Weidman does. Bisping is quite overrated with his stand up, and I think Weidman brings a lot more on the feet than is expecting. Bisping will control the fight against the cage when the two come close together, with the striking advantage going equal to Weidman. Bisping takes a split decision.

I love Chael but I think Weidman has the overall better grappling game, he made Munoz a two time national champ look like he never stepped foot on a mat a day in his life and he's had some success in pure grappling tournaments, I think he'd take Bisping down and hold him.

Weidman's stand up is the only thing I'm not sold on actually, but the elbow to Munoz was nice.

To me, nothing from the Munoz fight has me convinced. Munoz looked like he never stepped a foot on a mat as he was walking to the ring imo.

And yeah, Weidman's weak point would be considered as his striking, but I think it'd be the shock of the fight. I feel like Bisping is slightly overrated in his striking and I just feel like as the styles come together, Weidman would surprise everyone and either match Bisping or best him in the exchanges.

You're right that Weidman has the grappling that Chael doesnt, and I haden't really considered that. Chael isn't much of a grappler and is a pure wrestler, so perhaps Weidman could do a lot more against the cage. I still don't see him keeping Bisping down though. He might be able to get some control against the cage but I think he will score a double or something where Bisping easily uses the cage to bounce right back up. A great fight though and one I've been calling for for a while. There are a lot of things Weidman would have to think about with the fight, unlike the one with Boetsch, and it'd be interesting to see if he could adapt and do what it takes to win and prove that he is the best at the weightclass.

Chris is a beast, no doubt. But Bisping has got some of the best take down defense at 185lbs. Plus that dude is like a cat, he always always gets back up.

I'm sorry but Chael is a far better MMA grappler at this point in their carrers. Give Chris time. Chael doesn't care about eating punches to get the take down. Plus I"ll take Chael's cardio over Weidmans anyday.

So did Yushin Okami.

Mark Munoz's grappling sucks. It's nothing but sloppy scrambling. The dude struggled to get Kendall Grove to the ground.

Bisping would probably push Weidman to the brink.

Anyway, Tim Boetsch while he shouldnt be favoured, is at least a tougher fighter than Mark Munoz.

I'd pick Bisping over Weidman, if judged correctly that is. I say that because of how takedowns are seen in this sport. Bisping is one of the hardest guys to pass on or even just hold down. Sure Weidman would probably get the takedown but he wouldn't get anything out of it. Bisping would get up, beat Weidman up standing and go for a classic Bisping decision.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.
