Im serious when I say this, remember in the early days when the UFC fought i night tournaments? they had guys fight early in the day and the winner was an alternate if some one got hurt.
Never mind, Some fighters might not fight if they didnt have enough time to prepare for the alternate...

What do you guys think, would it work???
I think it's more likely that a market of sorts will develop, where mid-tier fighters, gatekeepers, up-and-coming prospects and the like will be more prepared to fight on short notice. Basically, there will be a bunch of go to fighters in each weight class who will use injury replacements to make a living or a name for themselves.

I suspect that will be the case also. Lot of opportunities to take advantage of for some fighters..

I want to see Bader take the fight. And get destroyed.

Anderson Silva
Aldo - Dos Anjos - Mayday - Weidman - Machida - Jones

I laughed when I read this, Dana just give the fight to LHW who actually wants to be in there! Not a bitchy, limited skilled has-been who turns up for a paycheck.

Rampage wants to go out on a winnable fight, this was NOT a winnable fight.

One thing we know. With Rampage you never know, first time in his life as a fighter he is on a two loss streak.

could be that he is to "scared" to lose! Could be that he IS injuried and just have learned from past mistakes by fighting injuried.

oh well.He says he was fighting injuried in most of his loses but how much truth there is to this is another case
