Starbucks is not coffee.
Nescafe is not coffee.
And the scorched cow shit that is Maxwell House is certainly not Coffee.
If the above is what anybody here is using as the coffee yardstick, please call it something else. Something not Coffee. Something with the syllable "shite" in it.

So, what you're saying is:-
Me mentioning Starbucks (The most famous coffee related business on the planet), Nescafe (The most popular brand of coffee) and Maxwell House (Probably the second most popular brand of coffee) in a conversation about coffee...is irrelevent?

"Proper", you sir are throwing out adjectives that you're ass can't cheque...or....some sort of cool pun......
But you wouldn't hear "McDonalds" and think "Burgers". You'd think a scary clown and being asked for fries with things. I mean "Burger Kind" would have been an effective analogy, but you've missed that exit and now you're on a one way track to...bad...analogyville.....I don't know, apparently I've been renting a house at bad analogyville myself.
Summary, COFFEE SUCKS!

If you're dead tired (like having a real hard time to fight falling asleep while walking) and you wan't to wake up immediately, but neither coffee nor any energy drink helps you, you should give a try and have a good bite in a fresh habanero chilli. It works!

Fact - coffee rots your insides, whilst tea is good for you. Ergo, tea > coffee.
And the only energy drink I'd ever touch is 5 Hour Energy.

I dunno I thought starbucks was considered an average coffee. I actually think Mcdonalds coffee is pretty good. I've never made my own coffee with beans though. I don't like the stuff that much to be bothered. If I am making something at home I use my Tassimo for coffee or some hot water for green tea.

Never tried coffee, caffeine is addictive, the taste is an acquired one and it's not exactly good for you, therefore I will never be a coffee drinker.
Tea is great. Iced Tea is better.
Energy drinks are disgusting.
The best thing for energy is to get a good night's rest, Set your alarm clock for 25 minutes before you need to actually wake up, have your morning shower, when that's done, go back to sleep for 20 minutes, this is excellent rest time for your body. When the alarm goes off again you will be ready for the day, then get up, get dressed, have breakfast and a multi vitamin B tablet and on your way..

Where the coffee isn't so bitter or burnt from being poorly prepared or sitting in a pot so long that you have to add sugar to take the edge off. If you're going to add milk or cream, might as well do it properly with steamed/frothed milk that, again, isn't burnt to shit or made with an unclean 'wand' and doesn't have some crappy added coffee flavour to it.
Hard to find, as coffee is generally made poorly, so I don't blame people for having to add everything else in to make it drinkable.
