Warrior was the best MMA movie I've seen to date, and I doubt this will top it. However, I don't think that this movie comes across as serious as Warrior came across, probably won't see it in the movies but will see it in the future if it gets good reviews.

Is that an asian guy playing Tito Ortiz??? Or is it a guy that just fights with Tito Ortizes camp??? Cause he has those shorts on that Tito used to wear.

But watching the trailer i know exactly what fights he loses and what fights he wins.... i really hate when i see trailers that reveal everything.

The cool thing about this movie is that it seems they managed to make the fights look like they actually happened. I dont mean the punches and stuff but more of the environment.

I won't be seeing it, however, as 98% of Kevin James' films are absolute rubbish.
This. Kevin James was funny in King of Queens, an average sitcom. All of his movies have been rubbish and he is lucky to have made as many as he did.

I posted a vid a couple years back of Kevin James training with Randy. All MMA guys I've heard that have trained with him have said that the guy is a beast.

Here's the video:

Joe also has said a bunch on his podcast that Kevin James has lost a lot of weight for the movie. He looks to be in great shape.

I've been interested in this movie since I originally posted that vid, very excited to see it. I don't like the style of movie he's been making lately.

Very true. I just watched warrior again after reading that. It is by far the best MMA movie to date.

Most MMA movies are incredibly cheesy and stereotypical. Shaved heads with tattoos and lots of corny fight scenes.

Another movie I actually enjoyed was Never Back Down (the first one). I know a lot of people hate that movie, but there was some decent fight scenes and it was somewhat entertaining.

RIP Jordan Corder. Watch over me from above brother.

I liked king of queens and his standup is alright but his movies are usually terrible so I'm not sure if I will watch this.

yeh ill watch it, partly because i listen to Rogans podcast and hes been hyping it up and how good Kevin James' MMA is. May as well, i'd rather watch an average MMA themed movie than an average movie themed on 90% of other things..
