THE stupidest thing Jones can do is match handspeed with Belfort. Sure he might be faster. A LITTLE faster. But if he does that, he's giving Belfort the ONLY fight he can win.

Who runs Jones' camp? Captain Super-Cautious.

FORGET standing and trading.

A Greg Jackson champion ONLY stands and trades when the other guy has no chance.

Na Jones kept it standing with Machida, Jackson, Evans, Rua....so really, this is a myth. He took some down when he wanted be he stood with all of them for extended periods.

I think 'trade' is being understood as generally a one for one exchange of punches. Jones is no brawler.

I dont know if he matches Vitor's hand speed. Don't think I've ever seen him flurry but who knows. I can't see it.

Jones hands as fast as Vitor's? Not even close.

Bones lethal weapons are his unorthodox elbows, his TDs, great control on the ground, GNP(elbows again) plus some very effective sbmissions. All this along his obvious size advantage are just what he needed to dismantle his opponents so far.

As a pure boxer or kickboxer I have him as an average fighter. Good, but not outstanding. I don't think he'll trade with Vitor. That would be as cocky as taking Demian Maia down for a BJJ scramble.
