People seem to forget Wanderlei in his prime is a better fighter then Prime Rampage, with the result of the first 2 fights. Wanderlei after being KOed by Mirko was the end of his career in my opinion, there was a impact mark on the side of Wanderleis head much like someone swung a bat at him.

#1 Lyoto "the Dragon" Machida
#2 Junior "Cigano" Dos Santos
#3 Mauricio "Shogun" Rua
#4 Fedor "Last Emperor" Emelianenko
#5 "the Prodigy" BJ Penn

Im on another level now

Silva is a better fighter ( He actually trains hard) but he doesn't have that great of a chin as we all know. But I think Silva can beat a sloppy Page.

The Wanderlei of now is not the better fighter. He is just a brawler with a bad chin these days. Page has the tighter striking.

I'd shudder to see this fight because I know Rampage would be very very motivated and Silva's chin isn't there anymore

Yes i get what you are trying to say. but i think at that point Rampage was still pretty close to his prime comapred to Silva, now i feel they are equally past it, it just happened to Silva first. And Rampage has hardly been the KO artist recently, right now i dont think Rampage would blast through Silva like the 3rd fight.

I am tired of seeing Wandy get KO'd. If he still had the chin and the amazing recovery he once had in his Pride days I would say hell yeah, bring on Rampage.
Unfortunately Wand is not the crazed psycho killer her was and truly cannot take a shot like he used to.

I know some are thinking Wand stands a chance simply because Rampage has not looked that great lately but Page can still take a shot. This fight would go much like the last one.

Rampage is just the more intelligent striker. It depends how Rampage plans to fight. For a long time he's been dying for a stand up war, and maybe he will let everything else go away and stand and trade with Wandy. Wanderlei can knock out anyone. Rampage might have the better chin, but Silva can still get to it. The edge would be firmly in Page's corner, but I'd be calling for War Wandy!
