That's news to me. His post fight interviews make my ears feel like they are about to bleed.
This card is really, really good.

At a catchweighr between MW and WW I'd have Diaz beating Hendo.

lol I dunno why but I can relate to the feeling.
I love this card, even tho most of the good fights will be canceled due to injuries, but the card so far in theory is awsome.
Somehow I have a feeling it's not going well for my fighters tho.
Shogun & BJ are both two of my alltime favourites and both are going up against young hungry guys who will most likely destroy them.
Also a fan of Nate & I would love nothing more than for him to wreck and taunt that annoying mofo. Too bad unsubmittable wrestlers are his worst possible matchups.

If freaking Clay Guida and Joe Daddy can do it...

In my opinion, he has improved. Those 2 fights were almost 4 years ago! He was just turning 24. A lot of improvement and experience happens in the mid-20s. He isn't a kid anymore. Nate has always been talented, but we have never seen him completely dominate 3 guys in a row like he just did.
Bendo can certainly win that way if he is good enough to avoid the subs. But Nate is better standing and on the ground. While it may be Bendo's best option, rolling around on the ground with Nate is never a safe route for anyone.
Bendo has 5 rounds to lay. And if he does, at least everyone will know who the real fighter is afterwards. If he takes him down and decides not to lay but be aggressive, he will get sub'd.

I think the difference is Nate's striking. He was always pretty good, but wrestlers could get inside and ragdoll him quite easily. Now that his striking is on par with Nick's, people are easily caught on the back foot. Even a big guy like Bendo will struggle to take the centre of the ring, and Diaz will be pushing him back. It's very hard to get past steller striking to get into the wrestling zone. Also his Jiu Jitsu has seemed a little bit better aswell. The submissions over Jim and Gomi were very good, and although he's always been a great submission fighter, he's really brought himself up to elite championship level all round.
I actually only really watched Nick at first. My first proper Nate fight was the Gomi one, and I was thinking "Why is this guy not at the top?". He continued dominating great fighters like Miller and more impressivly Cerrone, and it was only then that I looked back to see how much he has improved.

Jim Miller was an "unsubmittable wrestler" before he fought Nate.. Trust me guys, this black belt Nate is a ******* beast, he will either punch Bendo until he can no longer stand or put him to sleep via some sort of front choke .,.(anaconda, d'arce, guillotine) take your pick.

Man I hope you are right. I would love it so much if Nate can beat him. And he has been looking like a beast lately so who knows. I just think Bendo as much as I can't stand the guy, is a bit too well-rounded. But we will see, I will be rooting hard for Nate.
Bendo's key would be to use a Randy Couture style gameplan of avoiding both striking and groundgame, pressing Nate up against the cage. Hopefully Nate is still able to land alot of strikes and break Bendo.
I could however see it go something like Couture vs Gonzaga, avoiding the ground and subs & still being able to grapple alot standing.
Nate has been wrecking lately tho, so who knows he might have some tricks for that kind of fight as well, like pulling guard or who knows. Like u said he did get Miller & I would never have thought that either. Bendo is a better version of Miller tho.
