finally he's embracing being a douche. Took him long enough, his false arrogance is gone, he's playing right into the villain role. Worst character to play is false modesty, now he just needs to talk smack better to his opponents. If he could get the fans against him so much they'd paid to see him lose, then his fights will get real exciting. Give him someone like Rashad now and he'll draw bigger.

Yeah right, the day dana lets a fighter leave the ufc while on top is the day the likes of bellator finally get their chance to make it big.
Dana has never let a fighter get out as a winning champ. At that point hes the best in the world and people would pay good money to see him fight no matter where he fought.
Look how much trouble a single guy in fedor was for them until he lost. If affliction wasnt so poorly managed it would have given ufc big problems. I myself bought a ppv or two and i know they sold quite well.
Not to mention it can have a chain effect on fighters leaving to fight the best giy instead of the "champ" that was handily smashed by him. like sylvia and arlovski. Dana got lucky and they unlucky with a noob operation like affliction. A genuine org like bellator could grow into a viable threat if this happened.
Needless to say it wont, not as long as bones is running through the division

There's a flip side to that though. Nobody would be able to challenge em in the smaller orgs...lolz. It would be relegated to a Kimbo Slice type of show with no legitimate contenders. His pay would be cut in half and most likely lose sponsorships.
Fedor was a different beast. He was on a decade long undefeated streak.
Most likely they'd keep em on the shelf. They're smart enough to have non-compete clauses. They sign six fight contracts which means it could last for at least two years if not more.
Curious to hear DW's response now...haha.

Yeah Jones would get sued and probably kicked out or worse if he hit Dana White.
Jones can go anywhere else but people wont follow him. Only his hardcore fans will go where he goes. Other hardcore fans will just download his fights and regular fans wont even know he left. And his pay would be cut more then half... Jones probably makes a million or more if he fights... with a different company the best he can probably hope is around 200k.
And if Jones hits Dana White for no reason then it isnt likely Jones would get support from other fighters either.

Jon Jones will be the UFC's worst nightmare, I would like him better if he continues this path and don't become a lapdog or company men like Chuck. If Jon Jones wants to look out for Jon Jones more power to him. At the end of the day this is the fight game and you're always one lost away from rock bottom.

Again, wrong as usual Sideways.. As if your Jones hatred isn't enough
Watch again, and notice how quick his eyebrows close up when Dana is mentioned? A typical 'fake response' takes longer than that, in order fot the brain to process the information. Danas mentioned and bam, jaw tenses and his brows close up. He does it very quickly - known as a microexpression. I think you can actually see the tips of his mouth hinder downwards, along with the eyebrows of course.
He wasn't faking that.
Second off, people by now should know Jones is a fighter and NOT a spokesperson. He's here to fight and to be a legend at what he loves to do.
LASTLY, Sideways - the next time you badmouth Jones you should think about what you'd really say if he was infront of you

Now at the end, if you would like a tip, when the reporter asks about Dana? Notice Jones eyebrows move to the center? He's angry at Dana and wasn't lieing when he said he wanted to hit him in the face, he probably does but obviously isn't going too. Hell I'd do the same if my boss threw me under the bus like that.

Research? Dude, I'm 41. I've had enough interactions with human beings. That's my research.

Again, wrong as usual Azumo.. As if Jones didnt put enough Jizz on your face.
Jones made the same facial expression and body language that people make when they want to "come off" as being mad about something or someone because people expect them to be but realistically are not really mad. Iv done the same thing and iv seen it done plenty of times. Take a deep breath, move your head left and right, sway your body a bit, make a serious face, and say something stupid, and then feel awkward after you said it. Haha
And why should i worry about what id say to him if he was in front of me???? Jones lovers have the funniest way of thinking. They are almost as insecure as he is.

I'm pretty sure he was just kidding and that there is no reason to get worked up over this or criticize him for it.

No, people hate Jon Jones because he is an insincere Asshole!
He's cocky and disrespectful whilst all the time trying to convince people he isn't cocky and disrespectful.
Fake as they come.
