Just so everyone is clear Anderson's buyrates suck cause nobody thinks his opponent can win. Look at the trend, vs Chael, 600K,Belfort 725K, Okami 315K, vs Sonnen 2 did a million. People want to believe Anderson can lose that is what makes the fight intriguing. When people think Anderson winning is a foregone conclusion they don't bother tuning in..

Makes you wonder what Silva vs Jones would do.

Actually the buyrate for the Okami fight sucked because of Hurricane Irene. People didn't want to buy PPV, go to a bar as they didn't know if they would have power for the whole fight.

Nope. Just you and Kreed.

Kreed wanted an obvious answer. And he didn't get it. Hence why he's no where to be seen. You, well... you're just not even worth bothering with. So long, sport.

No, Kreed wanted everyone's opinion(s) about something, and judging by the number of responses to this very thread he's done rather well. That does'nt make people trolls, well maybe in your world.

Both henderson's wins over edgar were met with a groans/hiss from fans. Many wont even acknowledge hes champion. Now we have a flyweight fight that was the typical below lw type fight. There was nothing in saturdays fight that was dissimilar to cruz/faber fight.Yet mma fans were gushing over the later and booing the former? why is that..Has jones ever had a painstakingly boring fight? like ever? yet this guy is starving for cheers?

What is it about these new school of champions that suddenly has mma fans up in arms and handing in their UFC viewership
I think a lot of fans HAVE taken to them. Guessing on those who haven't yet I'd say because JBJ is arrogant, Henderson and Johnson don't quite have star quality yet because they haven't been in enough big fights. There could be a small piece due to their being black, but I don't think it's a major deal.

Is there any proof that those fighters have such a small fanbase¿ Or is it just an unproven claim to insinuate something¿

Only because some hardcore fans regularly complain about each wrong worded statement by either of these athletes doesn't mean they don't have a big fanbase.

Anderson Silva and Jon Jones both have a Global Nike sponsorship deal, which is basically the biggest sponsorship deal an MMA fighter can have at this moment. That's something nice guy George St. Pierre can't come up with so far. So their fanbase cant be so small.
