Bonnar is gonna go train flying scissor heal hooks for his entire camp. After he beats Anderson with it, he'll immediately get a title shot against Bones in which he will finish with the same move! Afterwords, he'll thank Ryo Chonan for teaching it to him but Steven Seagal will accept the accolades because he'll be hanging around ring-side looking for coattails to ride and will have wandered into the cage, having mistaken the aroma of sweat and blood for a Denny's buffet. Stephan will then finish the inventor of MMA with a Hadoken, sealing his claim to GOAT and retroactively making himself the father of all martial arts! War Bonnar!!!

Smart business move Dana. What's in store next for the UFC, midget wrestling?
Man, you are full of prejudice and discriminatory rages. The midgets you refer here certainly do have a better life than you, you disrespectful troll.

No offense, but I didn't answer any of my own questions, not even close really. Specifically my questions were,

Who do you consider big names, name say 15 - 20 of them, and what do you believe would have been a suitable card replacement for 153 despite all the unforeseen injuries last minute?

No I'm not any of those things and my life is great. I just don't feel 125 has a place in the UFC, especially on PPV's.

I'm not sure why you're still asking. I already explained the problem is we're being given one good fight (if that, Silva vs Bonnar does'nt do it for me) and the rest is filler. There's more then enough big names to stack the events all the time. They simply don't in my opinion because they're milking it (the fans).

I'm just asking from one user to another, not discussing any other problems in the UFC. We can go back and fourth all day on issues in the UFC, some I'd agree with and some I wouldn't.

But I'm just curious about those few questions. There is absolutely no wrong answer, hell the same questions could go for any member who wants to answer them. It's a question of opinion and I'm certainly not looking to cherry pick your answers or bash your opinions. I'm generally curious on the answers is all.

It's similar to this. If someone constantly tells me I shouldn't go see X movie, that's perfectly fine. But I will ask said individual what movie I should probably go see. It interests me, just the curiosity aspect of it.

As for 153 I have the deepest respect for Silva for stepping up to save the entire card but personally I don't think watching him trashing Bonnar as the main event is anything special but it is what it is. Also I would have liked to see Texira fighting Gus instead of Maldonado and Davis vs someone other than Prado. Nog vs Herman is just alright, Fitch vs Silva the same in my opinion. The rest of the fights I don't care at all for.

Hey fair enough. I appreciate you answering. I do agree Bonnar is really the last guy I'd have picked to see against Silva, but I am definitely intrigued by the main and co-main. I think it's nice to see the rankings kinda go away for a minute and just see some entertaining fights.

A lot of my friends aren't hardcore MMA fans, and sadly they're usually into the fights for a highlight knockout. I think Silva vs Bonnar is a fight I could show any of the casuals and they'll all have a blast watching. When the UFC has time to prep, and no injuries plague a card, they (for the most part) deliver great fights imo.

Uncle Dana's way of rewarding Bonnar with his first, possibly only, 7 figure payday. Forrest has had several, so it's Stephan's turn.

I can't see the result being any different from Forrest's however.
