Really...Machida walks around now at 200-205lbs due to his new diet...Guess you didn't watch the last weigh in with him

Gsp walks around at 195lbs...Hmmm Don't really see The issue Here

I thought GSP walks around at much less than that, he is always in great shape.

I know I've heard he walks around in the 190s. I trained with him a little over the summer and he dwarfed me. I was an inch or two taller, but he was crazy dense and way wider. I'm about 168-170 so, I'd guess he was in the mid 180s maybe higher. But he was just getting back from knee surgery.

Without a source, this thread is pointless. Please credit where you got this rather questionable info from or I'll be locking this bad boy.

Yeah, I agree with this for sure. Seems a really odd thing for Machida to say, if indeed he did say it of course.

Well, no big surprise here. He trains with the Ufc Hw Champion and MW Champion, already got wicked choked out by the LHW champion, WW is the only place for him. lol I mean yeah Lyoto was doing good in the Jones fight, but who would be in a rush to get back in there and fight a guy that choked you out so violently.

Not hating on Lyoto here, just pointing these things out.

Machida would beat GSP easily in my opinion. I think he would knock him out early.

Well I think it's pretty obvious that the difference in size is way to much here, but I honestly think that if you took Machida and cloned him say into a natural WW he would still demolish GSP. Stylistic nightmare of a match, plus Lyoto lands everything (not just counters) with power so well. We've never seen George frustrated in the cage before, Machida is the perfect guy to make that happen.

The size difference is less than GSP/Anderson so I don't get that whole argument. All I know is I wanna see it now.

After GSP, why doesn't Machida call out Bendo or Donald Cerrone at 155. This is lame Machida. Rematch JBJ and attempt to get that title back rather than calling out a fighter 2 weight classes below you! #makesyoulooksoft
