I wouldnt go as far as Canada has no one else except Rory and GSP, but I get what you mean.

What other Canadians put on a main event right now in comparrison to how many Brazillians can main event.

Also, as for why they get big fights....it is simple. They are in the same time zones as the U.S. Canada as good as their fans are wouldn't get all those huge fights if they switched spots with England. England gets no big fights because it is on live at 3pm here in the States. Pretty simple really.
True but I would still like to see how a Jones/Gustaffson or a Henderson/Diaz would be received down there.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before some bozo came along with the Canada bashing (and imagine my shock that it's you). While I'll agree that Canada is currently lacking in main event fighters, to say we have no one representing us outside of Rory and GSP is laughably uninformed.

Australia actually averages fastest ticket sales in UFC I believe. This makes me think, why doesn't Australia get any huge fights? It's mean.

Everything is more expensive here than pretty much anywhere in the world aswell. There's no excuse.

Who else do you have? Can you understand exaggeration? Did I really mean you have NO ONE? Or did I mean you have very few fighters that are big time that could be put in co-main or main event fights?

Name some more great Canadian fighters...I'll start:

Mark Bocek
Mark Hominick
Claude Patrick
Ryan Jimmo

You can pick it up from there..

Ill name some well known Brazilian fighters: Anderson, Wandy, Vitor, Machida, Shogun, JDS, Werdum, Big Nog, Bigfoot, Thiago Silva, Lil Nog, Jacare, Erick Silva very soon, Thiago Alves, Aldo, Barao...

Compared to a place like Brazil, Canada has very few good UFC fighters. But that isn't what I could of meant. I guess I'm a bozo. Call me a hater while you are at it.

Canada is more UFC friendly - more reasonable liability laws, less red tape, less negative influence from US boxing authorities, lower union costs to set up, etc.

Because Canadians will buy all the tickets in the first 15 seconds the box opens. They kept adding seats in the toronto show and basically had people buy seats beyond the nosebleeds and they still sold. We love MMA up here.

I think he retired but I really enjoyed watching Ivan Salavary.

Canada has very few people in general and far fewer mma gyms due to the fact we have like 35 million people spread out over an area bigger than the us. Statiscally of course we would have far less UFC fighters.
