Very mixed emotions on this. Obviously the guy is a scum bag. Numerous unprofessional things he did whilst at City.
However he did do a lot for City in terms of their global appeal and infrastructure and was crazy successful at Nike.

I wonder what has happened to Zelanik?

Maybe Danas lack of knowledge on football with come back to haunt him with this one. Didnt he get fired from city for making a load of crappy decisions?

In terms of business he did great at city. He got fired because there had been a dispute with a player and the players mum wrote a letter of complaint to the club. Gary cook sent an email to the club chairman ripping the shit out of the woman, even taking the piss out of her for being diagnosed with cancer... only problem was he accidentally sent it to the woman!!

He also laid into Richard Dunne for not being an oaf and not marketable enough even though he was the club captain and he'd won the clubs player of the year award for the previous 2 years.

those are just 2 examples from many of things he has done. Basically he just an unprofessional shite

Yeah remember that now. I guess business is business, but I can't imagine how you can trust a dude on any level who is so heartless and unprofessional as to create an email like that about someone who has cancer and then be enough of a moron to actually send it to her. Could understand a bank hiring a guy like that alright but our beloved UFC?!!
