Its almost becoming a Team Alpha Male tradition to say outrageous things shortly before losing the big fight.
Going 5 rounds with Aldo with the worst legs i've seen in MMA and both arms broken, i think he might had a case for that assumption. Barao didn't showcase his toughness in their fight.

I think Barao is tougher coming from a poor background in brazil where he not only battled in the gym and in his mma fights but also fought starvation and struggled finding a place to sleep at night.

Castillo: If MMA were all about boring ass fights, I'd have a better record than A. Silva.

Cerroney's Non-Paid FFL Warriors:
'The Natural Born Killer' Carlos Condit • Alexander 'The Mauler' Gustaffson • Daniel Cormier • William 'Patolino' Macario • Tony 'El Cucuy' Ferguson.

but there are also a lot of jackasses who have no idea what they are talking about
........and after this, Castillo checked the mirror just to be sure he didn't forget about himself....

Also, talking about Henderson/Pettis/Cerrone's ranking and performances and the fact they are ex WEC, like he has a merit in that...

Strange..

I think a lot of people underestimate Silva's work ethic.

His background obviously contributes to his toughness, but that doesn't mean that someone from a better background couldn't be a bit more tough. And from what Faber has shown in the past, I would put him right up there.

Perhaps he should work on his common sense and smarts.

He had Johnson mounted with one of Johnson's arms trapped. Instead of posturing up and reigning blows he went for an arm triangle. Then gave up the trapped arm to move to side to end it. Then for whatever reason went back to mount where he really couldn't get the choke. Then Johnson got free.

Castillo is an idiot. Glad to see him and Roller lose.
