The beatdown of Forrest gets more embarrassing every time I see the knockdowns.

That's not the point.
If Anderson really did fight anyone at any time at any weight he'd be fighting Chris Weidman, the rightful number one contender to the Middleweight Title who atleast has a shot of beating him on eight weeks notice with a full training camp in December, not some mid-level semi-retired LHW whose not won a relevant fight in forever that's being brought in on short notice in October to be slayed as a showcase for the Brazilian fans. I get why Anderson's taking the fight and he's doing it on short notice to save a card in his home country, which is cool but the whole anyone/any weight/any time thing isn't quite true.

lol, I don't care if people enjoy the fight, I hope people do enjoy it, I'm gonna watch the PPV but not because of this fight, not everyone shares the same opinion when it comes to MMA, I'm not a fan of either guy and I don't really think it'll be competitive.

It wasn't just that he beat Mark Munoz. It was how badly he spanked Mark Munoz.
That's like condemning Anderson for just beating Forrest. There was a lot more to the win than just getting his hand raised.
I would rather have Silva fight someone like Weidman. But whatever, it's out of our control. There's no reason to bitch about it. Let's just watch him fight.

Okay, but you guys DO realize this is a BONUS fight? Anderson wasn't fighting until 2013. He stepped up, saved the card, and is now fighting Bonnar in a fun as fuk fight. Weidman gets his 100% fair and completley title contention justification fight with Boetsch (wheres the sarcasm button?) and Anderson still defends his title at the exact same point he would have without this fight.
Also, Bisping not only beats Weidman but deserves the title shot more...

I'm very well aware this fight wasn't going to happen. That's why I'm not bitching and moaning about it. I love watching Anderson fight. I do think he only has a certain number of fights left, and I would prefer one of them wasn't wasted on Bonnar. God forbid Silva gets hurt in this fight and misses a legit fight because he wanted to have fun.
I don't think Bisping has earned a fight more than Weidman. Bispings fight against Stann proved to me he has absolutely nothing to offer Silva.
You are right though. This is a fun fight, and I am happy to watch it. I would just prefer a different opponent. That is all.
