He shouldnt drop unless it's FOR a fight with Jones. And if he loses to Jones, go back to HW.

I hope he wins anyways. I have no idea why because I SHOULD be a huge JDS fan but for some reason I'm not THAT interested in him.

Yeah I don't get why people are all like "no don't drop to LHW we need you at HW".

1. We need top LHW fighters, it's second only to the Fly Weight division right now in depth.

2. Winning a belt in two different weight classes is one of the ultimate reward's in MMA next to winning a tournament.

Cain can clean out the Legends at 205 build his reputation and legacy and retire a p4p great or he can be Jon Fitch have job security till he gets KTFO by some random guy.

I don't see Cain ever being a LHW, no matter how bad he loses at HW. Now his buddie Cormier is a different story. I remember reading before he had something up with his kidneys that prevented him from cutting large amounts of weight. But he has talked about moving down since then. I actually think Cormier stands a better chance against JDS then Cain does.

I really feel Cain is making the worst decision of his career taking this rematch so quickly.

The Cain we saw in that fight was a shell of his real self. He was over weight, slow and hesitant to pull the trigger.

The real Cain, AKA T1000 Terminator - is in your face from the get go, attacking you relentlessly with take downs, strikes, and ground and pound until you are done, finished, terminated.

I expect that T1000 killing machine to show up in the rematch and push JDS to his limits. I think he'll over whelm Junior with take downs and quick strikes and end up getting the TKO some time in the third round, with Junior being too exhausted to even get back to his feet.

I fully believe that Cain is one of the very best MMA wrestlers in the game and one of the very best p4p fighters in the world. I believe in his skill set and expect him to fully showcase it in all it's glory come the rematch.

Cain will be able to work his way back to a shot as long as he has a competitive fight this time. Truth is the HW division is shallow with fighters who could be viewed as legit threats to JDS right now. Come on besides Werdum,The Reem and Cain is there a single fighter you see as a threat? Anyone thinking Struve won't get smashed? Anyone lining up to see Travis "Tim Sylvia 2.0" Browne get a title shot? Didn't think so.

If Cain loses to JDS and drops down, no one will consider him a legend. He'll just be "That dude who JDS schooled", even if he became a champion.

He'd still wreck 99% of HWs out there.. so he's gonna be in limbo fighting around the champion.. but I personally think he wins the title back.
