Don't get me started on the Pettis fight. Whatever standup there was, Guida lost. He spend the majority of the fight defending sub attempts after sub attempts. Pettis clearly outworked him on his back and the only reason Guida won was because he took him down. He wasn't in control of the fight, he only controlled where it took place.

Wonder who he will get at 145. I think he will be up there just because of the depth of the division but I don't think he gets a title there. Especially with Aldo and Edgar down there.

Miesha Tate - Urijah Faber - Dustin Poirier - Frankie Edgar - Claudia Gadelha - Tecia Torres - Demian Maia - Jessica Eye - Diaz Bro's

I think there are plenty of guys at 145 that will beat Guida. I think he will struggle to stay in the top 10.

I think he will be outside the top 5, but 145 is shallow. A lot of the middle tier fighters only look good because of who they are fighting. I can see Aldo, Edgar, KZ and Cub beating him for sure with others giving him fits. But no way does he fall to the back of 145.

I see a few others giving him more then just fits. I like Mendes, Lamas, Hioki for sure against him. Still a handful of others that IMO would give him fits like Kotch and MTB. There are plenty of guys that can hang with Clay IMO. That's just Zuffa guys. I like a few Bellator guys to beat Clay as well.

Eh if you took most of them if not all of them and put them at 155 they would be cut after a few fights. Koch would get demolished by Guida. I know Guida isn't the most exciting but anyone who can't handle his wrestling and his pace is going to lose. Guida has beaten better fighters than them in the past.

It's going to be interesting to see how his style translate at 145. He was use to pushing the pace and wearing fighters down. I don't think he will be able to do that as well at 145 where the fighters are generally quicker and have a higher pace. It will be real interesting to see how he translates at that weight.

Absolutely pathetic performance by Clay Guida, really pathetic. I hope the next time he falls asleep in public some one shaves that dreadful hair off his head. And his eyebrows, just for a laugh.
Speaking of his hair, I'm still pretty sure that if he hadn't been forced to braid it he would never have popped his head out of that guillotine.

Guida/Maynard, Guida got the better of Maynard? What fight was Clay watching? I've always like Clay, but after this stupid shit he said, I want to watch his pompous ass get destroyed. And I don't mean destroyed like getting finished quickly, I hope he gets beat up on his feet, then taken down and pounded on for 14:55 the knocked unconscious with the very last punch he's hit with.

at the same time the braid creates a hook rather than a mesh flexible bundle of hair... he may have had an easier time escaping with his normally wild hair
