I came across this and now i really hope Sonnen works his way up to a title shot against Jones.
I don't think Sonnen is even getting past Griffin. Quite a bad stylistic match up for him. He'll lose to Griffin, again, and then all of the cross over WWE fans will be all sad and upset that he didn't get the title shot.
I'm pretty sure he can beat Forrest now if he just stands and trades with him. Forrest ain't T(KO)ing him, that's for sure.

Yea, Forrest is absolute trash nowadays that's true. I just don't want to see Sonnen beat him and get granted an instant title shot.
I personally think Sonnen needs to beat at least 2-3 top notch LHW fighters to earn a shot. Gustaffson, Rua, Machida or some one, not Forrest Griffin.

Nonsense. I hate WWE with a passion. I like Sonnen.
Its amazing to think that this fight almost happened... and now its almost like "Kinda wish it did happen". Its better then a guy going in to a fight with a broken hand.
