Michael Bisping responds to Urijah Faber's challenge

UFC middleweight Michael Bisping usually has something to say about everything, and he's especially responsive when someone says something about him first. During the leadup to UFC 152, Bisping and flyweight Joseph Benavidez threw a few jokes back and forth and it was all in good fun. But Joe B's coach and fellow bantamweight Urijah Faber took it one step further in a recent interview. He said that he thinks he'd do pretty well in an actual fight with Bisping despite the obvious size difference, and even challenged him to a friendly exhibition match:
I think it'd go well. I think I'd have an advantage on the ground. I wouldn't wanna take a clean punch from the guy because he's so much bigger, but you know, for those that know martial arts, getting hit on the button is the scary thing and I think he'd have trouble hitting me. Although I have a great big chin here, I think he'd have trouble getting to it. So it'd be an interesting fight. I would do it. Let's do it Bisping, we can do it on the internet. We can do some sparring, or charge people and have an exhibition bout."
This morning, Bisping found out about it. And had an appropriate Bisping response via twitter:
HAHAHHAHAA I JUST LAUGHED SO HARD. I didn't know faber was serious. Jesus, all those failed title fights must of messed his brain up.
I have to admit that I've been laughing at Bisping's response since I read it. I'm sure he'll have even more to say, but this first response was gold.

LMAO.. That was good stuff by Bisping.. I like Faber, but he would get tooled everywhere. Bisping would either 1-2 him and KO him or just throw a little high kick and KO him...
If the fight went to ground it wouldn't even be funny...

Exactly, I know its all jokes but some people are gonna take this seriously and get the wrong impression. Bisping would merk him all over though, quickly too. |

Bisping and Benavidez was some playful and entertaining back and fourth. That's what happens when someone gets Mike's sense of humour and plays along with it, instead of calling him a dick (he can be a dick, I know).
Bisping would kill faber though lol. Both verbally and physically. The former being funny, the latter... not so much.

If bisping fought in divisions as thin as the ones Faber fights in I'm sure he would have had loads of shots too.  |
