Even thought Maia is dropping down I think Story is probably the bigger man(I think he cuts more weight). He is one of the bigger and stronger WWs out there. I think Story could muscle him around a little at first but I think eventually he gets winded and Maia finds the sub.
Maia can take Story down if he wants to, I don't think he needs to pull guard.

Maybe my memory is off but I thought Demian took Stungun down quite easily, but Stungun just injured himself on the landing?

Stungun is a huge 170 and has excellent TDD.
Yeah that was kind of an awkward take down. Story is shorter and more stacked then Kim. I'm willing to bet he is stronger then Kim. Also with Kim's Judo he is hard to take down but Story did wrestle in college so I don't know who is harder to take down. Kim is listed as 3 inches taller but Story is a very strong man.

Is he stronger than Sonnen? Honestly i think Maia can take most people down when he is the relentless BJJ fighter and not the shit kickboxer.

Chael is a weird fighter. I think that trip just caught him off guard. Maia has struggled to take lesser and weaker wrestlers down. I wouldn't be surprised if eventually he gets a trip or some kind of body lock take down. But I think Story should be able to keep it standing for atleast a little while and I think he will be the one controlling the grappling at the beginning of the fight.
Maia should win this one by submission, or at the very least a convincing decision.
