Now if only Maia could do that when it matters...

Would love to see him do that to GSP but it'll never happen.

Impressive.

What exactly caused the blood to gush?
I'm assuming he made his nose bleed with one of the face punches he used to loosen him up or his forearm on the previous attempts. I want to say it was just him squeezing the blood out of his brain though.

Maia could be a force if he fights like that every time he gets in the cage. Story has decent wrestling so for Maia to ragdoll him like that was impressive. And when you can crank the blood out of someones face you know your Submissions are scary good!

Maia is an absolute monster at 170lbs. It's not just him finally being the same size as his competitors, he looks a lot like prime 2009 Maia. Kim was a top 5 at WW and Story was a fringe top 10 and he made them look amateurish.

Anyone see a little Chael in his approach?

I assume you meant top-15

Wow Maia looks like a monster. I cannot wait to see this guy again. Story and Kim are both good fighters with strong bases and Maia made fools out of them.

Match him up with the Kampmann-Hendricks loser.
