Guessing by the the kind of person Jon Jones has shown to be. He is going to wait untill Silva is around 40 and then he is going to start calling him out...

Anderson Silva is almost at the end of his fight career .He is a highly dynamic fighter fuelled by his mastery of different martial art techniques. Jon Jones has around another 10 years in the game, a solid fighter, younger but not with the experience of Silva.
I really think both fighters should get this fight on. I can only imagine what a great fight this would be.
Silva would probably play evasive and exhaust Jones until round 4/5 and then choke him. On the other hand, Jones could use his power and extra reach to go for KO.
I really think that Silva should NOT be fighting low grade fighters at this late stage of his career like Bonnar. Dana White should set up the legendary contest between silva and jones.
As a compromise, the fight could be made an 'EXHIBITION FIGHT' to possibly deal with career concerns.
What do you think?

Well, i like the fact that you didn't say they need to fight each other. Kind of torn if they should and i'd love if they would fight.

Having said that, the reason I say KO is that I think a -lucky- punch when Andersons guard is relaxed could be an exploitation that Jones would probably figure out (as is the case with almost EVERY fight). Just because Jones hasn't shown KO power doesn't mean he doesn't have it so it's your opinion is as speculative as mine.
On the topic of ground fight they both have long slender limbs so technique and experience will be a key factor here which I would give to Anderson. BUT, Jones can pull amazing escapes like the arm-bar with Vitor. Anderson's ground control is excellent, one of the best, he waits for an opportunity and can exploit it. If Jones makes 1 mistake on the ground then Silva will win. Otherwise it's pretty even.
This is what makes this fight extremely interesting, the match up is great.

Yes..., since that's worked so well in the past. Basically, if Vitor couldn't hit Silva while his guard was lax, it's not even logical to think that Bones can. Plus, Vitor, who is a proven power striker, landed clean on Silva and it left him completely undisturbed, let alone hurt. Even if Bones could land that one lucky shot, he's never even hinted that he has the kind of power to KO Silva. I mean come on, Silva has kept his hands down and been tagged by several opponents. Opponents that have KO power. How many times has he been KOed? Or even rocked?
Anyways, Bones/Silva will never happen.

When did vitor land clean and when has vitor ever finished someone with one punch? I'm not arguing that you're wrong, just that you didn't use the beat example for support.

I'll have to rewatch the fight, but I do remember Vitor landing at least 1 clean. It wasn't on the jaw, more like on the temple. And, I don't know if Vitor has ever pulled a Shane Carwin on anybody, but his Boxing skill, highlighted by his speed and lesser so by his power, does lead to TKO finishes. Rather often in fact. Whereas I can only think of 1 fight where Bones finished someone standing, and that was Shogun. But, even that fight, it's not like Bones was in danger of KOing him in the stand up. He hurt him on the ground and just happened to get the finish while standing. I've never seen Bones actually hurt someone standing then finish on the ground. The only times it has happened for Bones, it was the complete opposite.

I don't think Vitor landed "clean" but he landed a shoulder/head punch or two. I felt Vitor looked very strong in their fight and might have done a lot better than anyone else would had he not been KOed so unpredictabley. I don't feel a KO punch is in any way relevent for Jones to land on Silva anyways. It's not his style for starters...
