Bonnar looks to be in great shape, hope he brings it.

Yeah I don't know why people keep insisting that he is some gigantic MW. He has a large frame but when he fights at MW he is actually only a couple pounds heavier than GSP is when he fights at WW. He said he didn't cut any weight for this fight and was 202 he weighs between 195-200 at MW.

i wonder what weight difference there will be tomorrow between silva and bonnar.
silva was 202 which says to me he didnt cut anything and bonar looked ripped(wish i could get into that shape in 3 weeks)
i still see silva finishing him but i wonder if this changes the odds any towards Bonnar slightly

yeah the his frame could easily support the extra muscle to make him a proper LHW, but he is naturally very slender which is what make MW perfect for him.. back in the day when he was legitimately fighting at LHW he packed on a fair amount of muscle and obviously had to cut a few lbs to hit 205.

i only watched this vid to make one comparison. how does spider compare in size to Bonnar as opposed to how he compared against forrest.

In the fight against Forrest, Andy looked almost as big. They were nose to nose and Andy looked like a legit LHW. Go back and rewatch their stare down.

Here, Bonnar looks like a big light heavy and Andy really looks like a guy moving up a weight class.

Now I take it the reason is that in the Forrest fight he had the time to properly add the muscle mass as opposed to this fight he just didnt cut weight. Andy weighed in at 205 against Forrest.

Now the big question, does this make any difference? I think it makes a difference but not enough to change the results. I mean, there are instances that I think a little weight could make a big difference. Id rather see andy vs hendo 2 @ 205 lbs. I think that would give Hendo his best chance.

Conclusion: Bonnar has little chance due to the skill set of his opponent. But he looks in great shape and I hope that hes as prepared as possible and really brings it. All I hope for Stephan is that he does better than Griffin and Irvin put together and make this Andy's toughest 205lb fight in the UFC.

Nog may look dreadful but unless he comes out in the worst shape possible and Herman comes in on his best day then I really don't see how he wins, Nog has underrated boxing and Herman's head up in the air style just begs for trouble.

yesh before the forrest fight, silva had 4 months to put on some muscle. here for bonnar he had what? 1 month?

the only negative i can see from him coming in under weight is that he is going to hit like a MW which is less brutal than the LHW version of himself.. and bonnar has a solid chin so he may not be able to drop him with just one punch.
